I lived here for 2 months while moving - a bit panicked about 2 of us living in a hotel for so long, but this worked out better than expected. Conveniently located to CalTrain, VTA light rail, freeways, shopping, restaurants, parks, many within walking distance. Free parking. Located right on El Camino, but not noisy. Wal-Mart, Whole Foods, Safeway, Trader... More

I have stayed in this hotel many times when my parents were still alive. ( from 1999-2008 ) Both of my parents died of cancer . Back then my parents and I were here because we wanted to stay near the Stanford hospital . The hotel staff back then were very jolly helpful and really nice to their guests. I... More

I can't give 2 stars although I hesitated. A 250$ suite you expect impeccable services. Room was clean, needs refreshening though. 6 nights and only three little bottles of shampoo shower gel and body lotion then you have to ask for more. Breakfast is included but why is there a guy waiting for the tip, he didn't serve us or... More

We stayed at this inn three years ago and thought it was pleasant back then so we decided to stay here again, but it will be my last time. I'm not sure if there are new owners, but the inn was merely adequate and I expect more from the Marriott chain of hotels (we are gold members). The only positive... More

The good: I requested a 2n floor away from street & I got a nice room, I can't complain it was nice for the price since everything else was much higher. The staff were all nice, really. The parking is tight, one has to practice parking in really tight spots etween cars. Don't know what they can do about that... More

We spent several days here on business/travel and were very satisfied. The rooms are huge with a full size kitchen, bar/breakfast counter, living room, etc. The staff was excellent. They put up with all of our "tourist-y" questions about San Francisco and the breakfast was wonderful - real eggs, waffles, fruit, you name it (all for free). Decent restaurants and... More

The title of my review pretty much sums this place up. Its clean, the staff are nice, the rooms are in pretty good shape, but the hotel is old and the rooms seem pretty dark and have odd layouts. Some quirks included my bathroom being hidden away behind a wall and the parking lot being impossibly tight in some spots.... More

The Residence in Palo Alto Mountain View is very conveniently located right on El Camino Real, which is the main street for pretty much anything anywhere between San Jose and San Francisco. I've stayed here 4 times already in 2015 and the hotel has a number of great features. The rooms are very quiet, the staff is incredibly friendly, helpful... More

Very good place to stay. Rooms are really good with kitchen and dining table. Breakfast is also good. Only thing is the place is not very kid friendly. They don't have kids play area and other facilities for kids.

We stayed at this Marriott for about 90 days and were treated badly. I am a Gold Marriott member, but still I could sense very curt behavior from most of their staff, especially their Manager (Amy). I could evidently see Caucasians being treated with much more respect. Will give you some instances: While having breakfast, the milk in their counter... More
