Let me start out by saying that if we had paid half of the rate we did pay (which was $260/night) then I would not have been nearly so disappointed in this hotel. At that rate, I have certain expectations for my accommodations. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast for a free hotel breakfast is pretty good... More

This is my first time at the Aria Hotel but I travel to Silicon Valley quite often and have stayed in some Best Westerns in the Valley that have all been far better than the Aria. There is not much to say about it really other than it gave me a room and shower for the night that was comfortable... More

We booked this reservation through Priceline.com at a price much higher than we're normally accustomed to paying, but had little choice, as we needed to be as close as possible to Stanford Hospital and adjacent clinics, at a specific time, based on medical conditions. The staff were very hospitable and accommodating, especially when I asked if we could check in... More

Ever since I started coming to the Hotel Aria in 2006, Sri was the General Manager. However, he has returned to India. Even so, the breakfast person and maintenance man are still there, and it is still my second-home in Silicon Valley.

I was booked into this hotel for my yearly business visit to the area, as the hotel we had used for years has been sold and is being renovated. Based on the reviews here, I was a bit nervous about being here 12 nights. I need not have worried. The room was clean, quiet, and far larger than the former... More

When we veer off the well worn path of Marriott's, Hiltons, Starwood, Omni, Kimpton, we are always a bit apprehensive. Well, with the Apple Retail Fair this week, accommodations were scarce in Silicon Valley. The Aria Hotel, not "fancy" or much in the way of "wow" offers a genuine welcome and a super clean hotel. The internet is the fastest... More

I got very deep impression. Front (Muhamed) was so kind with smile face. Really impressive. Clean air and wide space were also great. I would like to visit again. It was really different from any hotel around San Jose.

Whet do I start? The confusing room numbers where I had to call from the house ph twice to find my room? The 1970s decor? The horrible lighting in the room? The fact they sent me to my first room that was already occupied ? The crummy bfast? Sleep in your car.

<sigh> It's my fault. I can only blame myself. I had stayed in Mountain View before. I couldn't remember the name or the address. Google to the rescue. Hotels in...you get the rest. It was a hotel starting with "A" on El Camino. Bingo! It must've been the Aria. Jumped on it. Booked it without really looking. A little expensive... More

We booked three nights in Mountain View at Hotel Aria which is centrally located to places we wanted to visit (Filoli Garden, Stanford Shopping Center, California Ave. restaurants, and Los Gatos, as well as a visit to San Jose Japantown. We booked online through Priceline and were dubious as to the quality of the hotel after reviewing people's comments through... More
