This place fits the bill if you need a comfortable affordable hotel very close to Stanford university. The hotel is not fancy but it is clean and safe. The beds are very comfortable and the a/c works great. The free breakfast is basic but good. Our room was clean and comfortable. The check-in crew is not very friendly, but if... More

Happened to stay at this place for couple of nights since my other hotel was not available for the entire duration. First they do not provide at least a complimentary water bottle in the room. Considering the price they charge it would have been appropriate. Second there is this weird smell in the room and probably it is because of... More

I stayed here recently with friends. The rooms were spacious and clean! The lobby and hallways are a bit dated. The carpet in the hall ways needs to be replaced. It is just old, stained and a bit worn. The breakfast was mediocre, but served its purpose! Hotels in this area are very expensive. I would look to stay in... More

Was never able to book a room. The website was not accepting the reservation and when I tried to call the hotel the guy on the phone quoted a room at twice the cost and was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. Not only was he not listening he just kept repeating "we are busy" basically saying he... More

Stay at your own risk. My original accommodations fell through and we needed to find enough rooms for 10 people on short notice which led us to this property. We might have been better off sleeping in our cars. Hotel does not have a working elevator, which isn't that big a deal since it is only a 2 story property.... More

Let me start out by saying that if we had paid half of the rate we did pay (which was $260/night) then I would not have been nearly so disappointed in this hotel. At that rate, I have certain expectations for my accommodations. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast for a free hotel breakfast is pretty good... More

This is my first time at the Aria Hotel but I travel to Silicon Valley quite often and have stayed in some Best Westerns in the Valley that have all been far better than the Aria. There is not much to say about it really other than it gave me a room and shower for the night that was comfortable... More

We booked this reservation through Priceline.com at a price much higher than we're normally accustomed to paying, but had little choice, as we needed to be as close as possible to Stanford Hospital and adjacent clinics, at a specific time, based on medical conditions. The staff were very hospitable and accommodating, especially when I asked if we could check in... More

Ever since I started coming to the Hotel Aria in 2006, Sri was the General Manager. However, he has returned to India. Even so, the breakfast person and maintenance man are still there, and it is still my second-home in Silicon Valley.
