I made reservation on Hotwire and really didn't expected much from the hotel. We just needed a place to crast after going to the concert at the Shoreline Amphitheater. When we got to the hotel, they had hot breakfast for free. Free internet. Bottle Water for us and the Indian lady at the desk, Lita, i think was awsome. She... more

While the breakfast bar was fairly good, we had problems getting a good room. The first room, (way in the back) the security bolt was broken, and when we called the front desk, the lady said "oh, we're very safe here". We explained that was NOT good enough, so she suggested another room. THAT one had two double beds, um,.... more

Room I was assigned was dark as it was in a corner of the hotel, so never really got an real daylight. The TV didn't work properly so you only got a couple of channels, but if you moved it around more would appear. Reported it to the front desk and they said someone would mend it, never happened. The... more

I took my daughter to Stanford University and had a luxury of staying in this hotel for one night. I was really impressed with the newly renovated property. The lobby was exceptionally nice compared to other Best Westerns in California. Hot breakfast consist of sausage patty, scambled eggs, cereals, orange juice, toasts........fruits...and more. I loved the layout of the hotel... more

We stayed here for 2 nights and had an ok experience. First of all, we reserved one room w/ 2 queen beds through a discount offer off the AAA website. It's a 2 star establishment, and for the price, it's equals what you pay for. The counter people were pleasant and our bill settled w/o any difficulty. The rooms were... more

This hotel was surprisingly bad for a Best Western. First, the lady at the counter actually bartered with us when we asked how much the rooms cost. She started with a really high price and then went down by about $40. The bartering lasted for ages- it was like being at a flea market in a foreign country. Then she... more

I was originally assigned Room #69 which I turned down because it smelled terrible (smoky) even though it was a nonsmoking room. I was reassigned immediately (good front desk staff) to Room #208. This room was in a different area of the hotel, and was nicely renovated -- a major upgrade from the first room. It had a nice desk,... more
