With the facelift, this older style property is actually a good place to stay for short trips. As a corporate traveler, I stay here several times a year and with a good corporate rate, it makes good business sense. Hotel amenities are what you would expect for a small independent hotel - the breakfast is actually pretty good and the... More

We stayed here for 5 nights on a work visit. I would definitely come back for a return visit. It is right off the highway, so there is some noise outside, but you do not hear it at all once inside. I am actually thinking of asking for a room that has a little patio area facing the road so... More

They clearly renovated an older hotel, making it much more modern and green. The bed was comfortable, and the rooms were decorated nicely, as was the hotel. Breakfast in the morning was nicer than traditional continental breakfasts, consisting of an omelet bar, pancakes, hash browns, scrambled eggs, toast, and the usual continental breakfast foods. We would definitely go back to... More

This was a pleasant surprise. I couldn't stomach paying over $220 a night for the Residence Inn or Holiday Inn Express. Stumbled across Hotel Zico, looked at the pictures and gambled on the lower priced property. It paid off. This was probably a pretty unattractive 1970s property until the current owners gave it a makeover. Fresh paint, upgraded beds, eccentric... More

Thank you so much for your fun and kind words! It definitely made us chuckle! Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We will definitely look into the A/C unit, as well as the bathtub fixtures. Can't wait to see you during your next stay! More

the phrase "you get what you pay for" fails when it comes to this hotel. It's surprisingly too good for the price. Breakfast: awesome. Room: super clean. Cleaning services: prompt and nice. Decor: beautiful. Staff: kind of friendly, but not too friendly. I don't know what else a person could ask for. Would definitely come here again. More

I stayed at Hotel Zico for 2 nights while visiting my aunt who lives nearby. We did not spend much time in the hotel other than sleeping and breakfast. The breakfasts were very good, better than the mainstream alternatives (like Hampton Inn). Good bacon, scrambled eggs, hash browns, as well as fruit, bagels, danish, coffee, and juice. The rooms were... More

I stayed at Hotel Zico for the first time last week - it was a little difficult to find but was nicely decorated and clean. The rooms have a very small bathroom, but good hall space to store bags and luggage if you need more room to use to get ready. Staff was helpful and very friendly - they helped... More

I really enjoyed this property, it's decor is unique, fun and different. A nice change form the usual hotels. This is my new go to hotel when I'm in the area. More

Bright, great decor, fresh Mediterranean feel. Centrally located, close to most areas in the SouthBay. Room was big and clean, comfy bed. Green hotel which is a fantastic bonus that you don't have to pay extra for. Complimentary breakfast with made-to-order omelets that were tasty. They even have little snacks and drinks in the lobby for sale (with no big... More

We stayed in the hotel over Thanksgiving and, although the staff were friendly and helpful, were very disappointed by how incredibly noisy our room (104) was. It was clearly one half of an adjoining suite connected by a wooden door inside our room. The walls and ceilings are very thin and unisulated; conversations in adjoining rooms were easily heard and... More
