Stayed here for business. My normal hotel was booked and this was close the the client office. I didn't like that the hotel was on side or freeway but it was fine for a night. Rooms were spacious and I had a suite with a living room area. Not much around the hotel but around the corner was a Mexican... More

we were in the area for a wedding. this was our first trip to california and didn't know what to expect. the breakfast is slightly meager, but they do serve egg whites (very good), waffles, yogurt, biscuits and gravy and either sausage or shredded bacon .yum.. the day shift, especially eileen, was very helpful. we needed to get to several... I stayed here for one night on a business trip and it is clear from the attitude of the staff and the rooms themselves they are not trying to create any kind of good experience for customers. The breakfast in the morning was barely palatable, which is impressive given this is a chain that distributes pre made food. The eggs... More

If you are staying for a few nights to visit NASA Ames, this is a good place to stay. The rooms are adequate, and the breakfast is decent (but not great). The place needs some renovation. Be careful not to stay on the side that is near a noisy night club on weekends, Not too far from Castro Street which... More

When all the surrounding area hotels were booked, this is where I ended up. Lost in an interstellar time warp, this hotel reminded me of a hotel I stayed in 30 years ago. The whole place could really use a facelift or better yet, demolition and a rebirth. Still, there were some positives; the hotel was clean and it was... More

Adequate seems to be the phrase of the stay - adequate room, adequate cleanliness, adequate night's sleep, adequate wifi; adequate breakfast. Good: interior corridors; adequate bed is classic hotel firm; suites have two flat panel TVs; parking lot has double line striping; additional parking in the tight underground garage; microwave and under-counter refrigerator; relatively lower cost compared to many hotels... This hotel was recommended by a co-worker as well as some places to eat. It's located on a weird corner and due to that you have to climb a long ramp to get to the front door. I parked in the garage and used the elevator. My room was nicely equipped with 2 beds, fridge, work desk and a small... More

The staff at this hotel is polite enough. But, don't expect anything above 2 star hotel treatment - they answered my questions, but don't expect any service beyond that. There was one time that the receptionist looked annoyed when I interrupted her while she was playing with her phone. The reception area looks nice enough, but besides the flat screen... More

I have stayed here probably about a 1/2 dozen times over the last few years while visiting the Ames Research Center for work. It is a clean and quiet hotel. Its location can't be beat as it is just across the highway from Ames and only ~5 minutes away at most. In addition it is very close to the Castro... More

The room was a suite, but there was a wall that didn't go all the way to the ceiling, so it wasn't really a completely separate room. The ventilation wasn't very good. It was nice to have the extra space nonetheless. It had those hangers that aren't real hangers. I hate those. Breakfast was included, but it wasn't really edible.... More
