Inn was very plain, small room, very dirty carpet (couldn't walk on it without shoes!!), and over-priced considering no pool, hot tub, or continental breakfast. It was OK but there are probably better places in the area.

All the rooms are ground floor and no smoking. Very clean, freshly painted, with a comfortable queen bed. Microwave, TV, hair dryer, coffee/tea maker, fridge with small freezer. Pets are welcome, too. Staff is friendly, helpful, polite. We had planned to stay just one night but extended it to two. Price was under $100/night. Only downside, their WiFi (free) was... More

I was late, I was tired, only one room left, a suite, but the gave it to me at regular room price. Very quiet, clean, and nice coffee pot and choices of teas. slept well in comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful people.

We needed a stopover between Crater Lake and Lassen Volcanic, and this place fit the bill - clean, economical, and a short walk or drive to nearby great restaurants. The staff was very helpful with recommendations to eat and directions. This part of town is older and cute compared with the I-5 portion. We didn't notice any train noise at... More

I'm surprised that this hotel received a 4-star rating. The room that my family of 4 stayed was not worthy of anything but 2-stars at the most. It had a distinct bad odor. The bathroom is a bit small for family but may be fine for 1 or 2 people. Next door neighbors kept their doors open and were smoking... More

The bath, the bed and most everything was clean, except for the carpet which was really, really dirty; would not walk barefoot. The location is near the train tracks, so Wed and Fri night, it seemed there was just a 10pm train....but Thurs night there was a 2am train....loud. Office staff knew they were behind on carpet cleaning schedule....not a... More

I stayed here the night before climbing Mount Shasta and again the night I finished the climb. The rooms are basic, but clean. The hotel offers a discounted rate for hikers. The bed was comfortable. The staff was nice. One tip- bring your own shampoo and conditioner. The combo shampoo conditioner at the Inn epically failed to detangle my hair... More

Stayed there on a romantic weekend with my wife. The service was standard nothing fancy, most of the hotels/motels were full that weekend, not sure, as it was not a major holiday weekend, very clean room, seems to have been re done not to long ago, but still nice and clean. Beds were a little to firm for our likeing,... More

This is one of the Mt Shasta hotels that has recently been renovated or redecorated, so the paint and decor is fresh. There are soap and shampoo in the bathroom, which helped because I had forgotten mine. The rooms are clean and it is quiet.

I was up on business and wasn't feeling well so I was really happy to get there and get checked in so I could get to my room. Super friendly staff, and very cute room. Flat screen TV, microwave, fridge, very comfortable bed, coffee maker with coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Even though it is up in the mountains, there... More
