We purchased a Amazon deal to stay for 2 nights. The pictures of the resort looked interesting so we thought let's go and have a new adventure. We like to discover new places that we've never stayed before. It was a long 5 hour trip from our SF Bay Area home. Erin at the front desk was very welcoming and... More

My family of 3 stayed at Mount Shasta resort on our way back from a 5 day road trip. The chalet that we stayed was one bed room which overlooked the lake. It was really spacious well maintained. We just stayed in the chalet as we were tried after the long drive and desperately wanted some rest. And yes.. we... More

I do love this resort but I have noticed a few things that have changed this last stay. The front desk hostess was not very friendly although I will say that housekeeping and the restaurant staff more than made up for that with their great attitudes and attentive customer service. I responded to an advertisement for a girls spa weekend... More

My wife and I stayed here one night passing through from Portland to Yosemite. The rooms are really small chalets, with 3 chalets adjoining each other. The chalets are a couple of kms away from the main building and restaurant, so you have to drive between the two. The novelty of having your own chalet in the woods is quite... More

Very large "resort" with tennis courts, golf course, lake & river. "Rooms" are cabins spread out over many acres. Somewhat dated, but suitable for either winter or summer enthusiasts. Only stayed the night, but I could see using this as a home base to take advantage of all Shasta has to offer. Not for you if you are looking for... More

We loved this place. We arrived after dark to the most pleasant staff member ever. We drove to our chalet and it was much nicer in person than the pictures appear on the website. The entire place was just sweet, comfortable and homey. We awoke early in the morning to a view of the gorgeous lake and snow filled forest... More

Myself and wife visited this resort for a weekend getaway. The chalet we had was simply beautiful plus in an ideal setting. Close to lake with great hike trails nearby. Also we enjoyed the very friendly staff and locals. Will return.

My husband and stayed here for one night while on a week long scenic road trip. We chose this place based on its wooded location and Tripadvisor reviews. We did not make reservations ahead of time and booked our room as walk-ins. The woman at reception was awesome. Being that we stayed during a shoulder/off season, we pretty much had... More

We did not stay at the resort but we played golf and ate at the bar. Nearly every hole had an amazing view. It is a tough course for beginners but I would love to play it again. Next time we will stay at the resort. Planning a reunion here in a year or so.

We recently spent 2 nights at the resort and played a round of golf on a road trip heading north. We have stayed here in the past and enjoyed it. We had a good price on the room. Once the summer rush is over and the kids are back in school discounts are available through other sites or as part... More
