Condition of resort was abominable. Roads deteriorated, sites a mess, site not marked, and everything in need of maintenance. I chose to not stay and could not get a refund for my 2 nights paid (really). Called the manager, left a message 4 times, they will not return my calls. Worst business I have ever dealt with; they could at... More

We had a great time here. Four of the kids (ages 6-20) put the inflatables to good use. Our 4-year-old just swam/waded at the beach. I rented a single-person kayak and gave rides to two of the kids, and my wife also took a short turn. Cost: $1 per person age 6 and up to enter. $8 per person for... More

Camped with RV at Lake Siskiyou Camp - and while our particular campsite was rough others were very nice. It was in the newer part of the campground. However the lake was wonderful, clean, family friendly, and the fireworks were grand. The next morning the crew was out cleaning up the beach and we had a wonderful time. We will... More

For what this is, definitely 5 stars. Rented two lakeside camping cabins with our family (group of 7 adults and 3 kids). Location: About 4 hour drive from Bay Area. About 10 min from the town of Mt Shasta About 30 min drive from Mt Shasta trailheads. Cabins: Cabins are fully stocked with all your cooking supplies, extra sheets, pillows... More

Overall it was a good experience with children who can swim on their own. The Splash Zone inflatables do not go up when it is windy. Beach area is nice before and after the crowds. People stake claim to spots with large canopies. Can't imagine finding a spot on the beach during peak season. Would not want to be there.... More

Spent 5 nights in large cabin - L5. We also had L4. The cabins are identical, but L5 has a better deck and is closer to the water. We brought more than we needed. Coffee maker and toaster were provided along with pans, place settings and dish soap/sponge. Perfect fit for six.

Stayed here to try out our new trailer before traveling a long distance for Memorial Day Weekend. We stayed prior to "camp season" (before Memorial Day Weekend) so there were very few people staying when we stayed and a lot of the amenities (restaurant, beach rentals, outdoor movies, etc.) were not open yet. The campground was clean and the people... More

Wonderful, open forest. Large RV sites, few cabins. Frequent deer visits, birds & waterfowl. Magnificent view of Mt Shasta. Short stroll to pristine lake. Boat restrictions preserve quiet and protect wildlife. A little hard to find; better signage needed. Very family-oriented in summer. Others will find solitude in off-season.

The attendent at the front gate wanted to charge us just to drive through the camp ground so we could see if we wanted to stay there. She was very rude to us. We will not go back. We talked to friends that have stayed there, they said the same thing, the people at the front gate are very unfriendly.... More

We have camped here for five years happily but this was the first year that the camp ground was very noisy all night (until 4am) with a large group party next to us. There were no night patrols. So if you enjoy having an all night party with your friends, or are a heavy sleeper, then I would recommend camping... More
