Convenient to the bay and the shops plus good restaurants. A nothing fancy hotel, bit older but gave us a good night of rest at a price of $75 a night. Free breakfast and internet plus iron and small fridge in room.

They charge as much as anyone and the room was painted. That's nice. But mattresses were old, cheap and worn. UNCOMFORTABLE. They save a few bucks, and the guests probably won't come through this town again, so the owner doesn't care. BUT Econo Lodge is below Motel 6 in my book if I have a choice in the future. I... More

We went to this motel with hope for a remodeled room (we read they were working on it) . Our hope came true, the room (209) looked great and the bathroom was all new. So we had a great night over here. We didnt hear the road. Breakfast didnt have much choice but there was enough. It's just a 5... More

If all you are looking for is a good, clean, basic room, this is your stop. They have a TV, fridge, clean beds, towels, and sheets. What else do you need? If you want a fancy room to stay couped up in all day, this isn't your place. If you want a clean place to lay your head after hitting... More

We only stayed one night, but would definitely stay here again. The staff was really nice and the room was basic, but great. Nice upgrades to the bathroom, nicely tiled shower area and nice counter area. Lovely tv, good view of Morro Rock from our window. Very clean, good location to the beachfront area (shopping, dinner, coffee). Breakfast isn't anything... More

This hotel has a good location and is one of the best values in the area. The hotel is constantly being improved. The room was clean and the staff are all very helpful. We will definitely be back again.

We stayed one night at this hotel. It's an older property, but it's kept up. It's not fancy, but if you are looking for a place that is clean and inexpensive this is a good place to stay. We had a nice view of the rock and a decent Continental breakfast. The staff was very friendly. We would stay here... More

Nice place to stay if you are not too picky about your room, overall clean and cozy and very close to the rock and the beach shopping area and an excellent coffee shop Is near by if you keep going south on the main road, it's called top dog best latte I've ever had. Showers could use some work and... More

I will start off by saying my wife and I decided we would stay here again.  Most of the reviews that we read set my expectations where they needed to be and I rated our experience based on this.  The staff was extremely courteous.  The bathroom was clean.  The room was clean.  It had a newer flat panel TV and... Needed just a stop for one night while on the road and this was adequate for it. This is a classic basic economy motel with a good location, virtually every room has a good view of Morro rock and it's a reasonable downhill to the waterfront docks or to the downtown shops for anyone in decent shape. The manager was... More
