We went for a vacation to pismo beach and hearst castle during the memorial day weekend and it can be tough to find good hotels during that time. We were able to get days inn in morro bay and let me tell u it was $140 (for each day ) well spent. They have nice airy spacious rooms with balconies,... more

The room for me was a little pricey, but in saying that it was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was an older style unit and the walls were so thin I could hear the man next door snoring. It was a good stay, but if I had my chance again I would have booked a newer room. more

Got the room at a great price. However, the single queen room was old, small, no air conditioner. Entrance door was on an alley. Car was next to a pair of dumpsters just outside our door. When we complained of the room were told that it qualified for the discounted rates and if we wanted another room with better conditions... more

We stay here when driving down Calif coastline to San Diego. Our third visit was in Jan 2009; clean moderate room, super nice staff, light breakfast in lobby, had upstairs small balcony with Morro Bay Rock view, doggie friendly (brought 2 doggies on a visit), easy walk to town, small store across street, we will stay again! Price comparable to... more

We had just stayed in a Holiday Inn Express in Walla Walla WA two weeks before. Perhaps I was expecting the same type of accomodations. This place was the pits. Both nights the parking lot had bikers out until midnight drinking beer (yes the hotel parking lot), they weren't too noisey, thankfully. The advertised breakfast was lousy (muffins and sweet... more

Booked the 3 queen bed "beach cottage". Normally $299/night, we got it through Expedia for $112 after tax. Hotel is in an excellent and safe location with a terrific close up view of Morro Rock. Literally about a 1-2 minute drive from Embarcadero. The hotel room itself was adequate, not beautiful or luxury, but clean and comfortable. It's built like... more

After a long day at nearby Hearst Castle, we arrived at the Days Inn in the early evening. We used a coupon from the discount coupon book we picked up at the McDonalds. The young lady desk clerk was very cheery and helpful. Our end unit "no smoking" room was exceptionally large, although there was a lingering smell of cigarette... more

Stayed here for one night. . . arrived late and check-in lady was extremely nice and very helpful. Room was clean. Location is within walking distance to the waterfront. It was perfect for what we needed and I have no complaints. If you're passing through town or staying for a night or two, you shouldn't have any issues staying here. more

I'd stay at the place right next door. Don't normally do the 2 star motel thing but this was a last minute booking as we shot up the coast. Arrived in the middle of the night and looking for a place to crash. Our room had two good beds but the smell of an old dying person. The smell remained... more

I guess we lucked out, compared to all the other people who had a horrible stay. The first hotel I checked out was closer to the beach, but it was EERIE looking, so I drove up the street and found this hotel. We stayed at the Days Inn last night (7/19) and the room was pretty good. We actually arrived... more
