The city is on the way to visit Hearst Castle and we chose this motel just to sleep, trusting previous reviews, so we expected much better appearance and services. The entrance-reception-breakfast place is ridiculously small, not more than six square metres, and there you pay, get information, and have breakfast in a unique table with two chairs. The double room... More

We stayed here for one night on our way from SF to LA, and overall it's a nice and affordable place to stay. The service was ok, they reduced the room rate when we said we'd check some other places. Our double queen size bed was great, all renovated with great beds. The bathroom was very good, too. The WiFi... More

Stopped in to Morro Bay for a few nights and stayed here. Great service, very clean rooms and the location was one com from the water. Owners were extremely nice and helpful. The king size bed was newer and great!

My weekend of camping was derailed when it turned out I picked the busiest weekend of the year to go camping and had to get a hotel. A dog friendly hotel at that. I found a WONDERFUL spot in Rockview Inn and Suites! If you were there a few years ago--this in not the same place. The new owners have... More

We made this our mid-trip stop right between LA and San Fran. I wanted to find a place that was close to the water, reasonably priced, and had decent accommodations. This is not a 5 star hotel but the owners try their best with what they have. The rooms have recently been updated and consistent. We stayed twice over a... More

We stayed one night on the 30th of December for a very reasonable $59 for a queen room. Our room was nicely refurbished, had a super comfy bed with awesome pillows. A nice flat screen tv and a decent shower. Everything was clean and well presented. Staff were friendly and helpful. Included in the price was small self serve breakfast... More

This was a poor experience in every way, and even as a lower cost option in the area, I'd go elsewhere. The desk staff were not professional in any way, breakfast was one waffle maker and cold cereal, toilet tank was broken, drapery sheers literally torn and rotting, partying teens. There are many motels convenient to the waterfront, stay at... More

We stayed for one night on our way to San Francisco in July. We needed a room for 5 so we had the suite (which was a door leading to a small room with the 3rd bed)...although hotel was clean it was very old, beds creaky, toilet clogged once, NO air conditioning (but fans worked ok), breakfast was fine and... We stayed for 1 night and had no complaints. Our room was compact and clean, the place was quiet all night (a little noisy in the morning with everyone's coming and goings, but it's a motel. What else can you expect?) The bed was pretty comfy and the shower was decent enough. I wouldn't stay a couple weeks but for... More

We had stayed here before and it was a good experience. Rooms have been redone and the rooms on the 2nd floor have new bathrooms. We were very impressed with the room. The value was exceptional. New bed was comfortable and the pillows were actually usable and nice. Bathroom had all new faucets, toilet, tub and surfaces. We liked the... More
