When you book online you are never sure what you get and this was our first trip to Calif. from Canada. Well it was great. The room was nicely done with clean. comfortable beds. There was table and chairs to sit at and nice clean washroom. There was a small fridge with a freezer and microwave, which really helped out... more

I fell in love with Morro Bay. I stayed here because I got a cheap price and double Wyndham Rewards points. The hotel is older, the rooms a bit worn. I stayed two nights. The first all by myself, the second nearly full. Quiet upper floor room with parking below the room. The town either downhill a block or two... more

This place looked good on paper and the room was nice enough till we turned on the heat. The natural gas heater mounted on the wall was pumping out fumes that burned our eyes and stung our noses. We seriously thought it might have killed us had we left it on all night. Luckily it wasn't that cold outside so... more

I didn't book this hotel right away because I was skeptical of the reviews. The room itself was fine. It worked for the one night we stayed in Morro Bay....if we stayed longer, I definately wouldn't have stayed here. The check in was nice and he was friendly. Kinda creepy though. The location was idea as my husband's favorite breakfast... more

The experience was quite bad....Firstly, the room heater was not working and then the shower broke down in the morning. To top it off the breakfast was stale with just cereal and a loaf of bread, unlike what has been advertised online. more

Staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, this hotel has seen better days. The furniture was old and worn, the electrical switches were old and some of the lights didn't work, the paint was peeling in the bathroom and, when turned on, the old CRT TV was emitting a grinding noise. Old windows were difficult to open. Showers were clean and... more

Our room was located above the managers and smelled of curry and garlic the entire stay. We were promised a heated pool, daily newspaper and 'bear bites continental breakfast'. The pool was green, the newspaper was 5 days old and the continental breakfast consisted of 2 tupperware containers filled with 2 different types of cereal and a loaf of generic... more

Pros: + Well ventilated room + Great view of Morro Rock + Small fridge and microwave + Within walking distance of several great places to eat. (Dorn's; Shine Cafe) Cons: - When we first trying entering the room, the dead bolt was on. Apparently we were given the key to a room already assigned to someone else.... - DO NOT... more

We stayed here on our way back to Los Angels from Kings Canyon, we needed a rest on the coast before the flight after all the driving. We were made most welcome by the lady who runs the facility and who puts in mega hours apparently from what I witnessed. The suite with three bedroom was very adqequate for our... more

We stayed here for a night on our way up the coast. The next morning, we moved on to a tour of Hearst Caste. We had a suite with three beds, each in its own very little little room. A few lightbulbs were burned out, and it would be smart to wear shoes while walking on the carpet so your... more
