We stay At Motel 6 quite often. Two days here now and the same one again next week for 3 days. Appreciate the kind service from the desk clerk and like the prices for the room. Very fair for a person that is retired and living on a budget. Yet when we returned today from a charity dinner to our... More

Let me provide a real world review of our first visit to Morro Bay and of selecting Motel 6. For years I had planned to do a road trip from Los Angeles to Monterey via Hwy 1 (PCH) with a stop-over at some random half-way point. Hence, as much as my trip was well planned, I did not know were... More

We stayed in this motel last Friday and Saturday night. When we arrived the room was clean. It is bare bones. There is a board on the wall where there apparently used to be a headboard. No pictures on wall. Walls paper thin. No hair dryer, no coffee, small scratchy towels, no breakfast or any other amenities, but prices are... More

The bathroom, toilet, bed etc was clean. Quiet. Front desk attendant was subdued but polite. Not really walking distance to pier but close to drive. Gas station next door. $150 for Saturday in August. Uneventful, but that's not necessarily bad

The room is extremely clean, but you can hear every little noise from the rooms around you--tvs, doors opening, voices, footsteps. The room has click clack laminate floors (no carpet) which is easier to keep clean but is horrible for noise. The room itself (with two beds) is extremely small and cramped, even by Motel 6 standards. The shower is... More

I live in LA. Went to college in SLO/Cal Poly. Morro Bay has been our short go to vacation spot since the 80's we come twice a yr for a week at a time. I have been coming to this Motel 6 since my wife clean rooms here during our college days! (early 80's) Always clean, simple, we have always... More

This was our second stay here and I already wrote a review last month about that visit. Overall it's a great room for the price. I just wanted to point out that the exhaust fans in the bathrooms in both rooms did not work. The first time I figured it was a fluke. The second time I was a little... More

We were there the Thursday and Friday right before Memorial Day. It was VERY clean. We were given extra towels and toilet paper upon request, along with a smile. I have cat hair and dog hair allergies, but experienced none while staying there. (They allow pets in the rooms.) The bed was more comfortable than the one I have at... More

The motel is next to a sports field. it's a Memorial Day weekend. The Saturday started with a baseball game on that field which we thought was cute until I started hearing men cursing and yelling. Ok.. After a long day on the shore and in the city we come to the motel at 7 pm only to find out... More

We usually stay in Cayucos when we come to the coast, but I booked this trip a couple weeks prior and Cayucos was booked. I booked here for price and because of the reviews on Trip Advisor. The room was spotless and updated--wood laminate floors, flat screen TV, stylish bedding and furniture (especially compared to the outdated photos on the... More
