We stayed here the night before my husband's birthday and LOVED it. We had an accessible room and it was lovely. The food was outstanding. They had just changed the menu about a week before our stay--which was April 29, 2013. We will definitely come back. The service was great although we could tell the manager did not care much... While I will admit I made last minute reservations, it would have been helpful for the hotel to have mentioned the 4th of July hotel party was directly in from of my room... you don't want to stay in room 401! People coming, going, coming, going... There was mold smell in the room and good luck trying to keep the... More

I was very sorry to hear of your disappointing experience while visiting our Inn. Under the new ownership of Pacifica Host Hotels, we believe that our guest's feedback is the best barometer of our performance. We take it seriously and to heart. We are currently evaluating and looking to enhance such things as our room amenities and trash can placement.... More

Wanted to really love this place. Located within a state park. Right across the street from a golf course. Restaurant with great views of Morro Rock and good food. Secluded. Rooms all newly renovated in 2012. Our standard queen rooms were small and we only had shower (no bath) but beds were very comfy. So what was the problem? We... More

We have had short breaks at The Inn for each of the last three years. The setting is almost perfect and the cormorants and other sea birds provide one of nature's great cabarets. The rooms vary from "better than basic" to really top class, BUT, the restaurant service is always poor. Breakfast has been downgraded from a buffet with fruit... More

This hotel is off the beaten path yet has a lovely feel to it. It's quaint, semi-remote, and affordable! If you book the hotel direct its a bit pricy. Hotwire made our stay possible. Rooms were a little small but the balcony made it feel larger. This is a hotel where you'll want the ocean view room if you can... More

Tis place is wonderful for families in the moring there is coffee and tea in the check in office. The pool is nice, it is also heated, but its not to hot. The best room there is the cottage, its kind of hidden, but it it right on the water and has a little kitchen, big bathroom, and a livingroom,... More

This is a good choice for anyone staying on the central coast who wants lovely ocean views, nighttime quiet to sleep, and good room amenities, as long as they have a car (since the inn is not in the center of town). Room choice is important here. My room (on the ground floor of the 400 building) faced the water,... More

The Inn at Morro Bay is located in a state park on the edge of town, away from the touristy embarcadero area. We had a beautiful bay view room just steps away form the water and could see the famous Morro Bay rock nearby. Our room had a very nice electric lit fireplace, large flat screen HDTV, comfortable new furniture... More

We stayed for one night as a stopover between wine tasting in Paso and heading down to LA. We arrived late and left early so our only experience was with the room itself. The room was very clean and comfortable. The property as a whole was very nice and appears to be recently renovated.

We stayed the 6 and 7th of June and had the King partial bay view suite. The room was large and beautifully presented, it had everything we needed including a fireplace which we used as it was cold in the evening. I loved all of the birds and our view of the bay and Morro Bay itself is close to... More
