This was our second stay here for a little mid-week romantic getaway. I'm sure it's because it wasn't the weekend, but we practically had the whole hotel (and the whole town too) to ourselves. Very peaceful, attentive service, gorgeous locale. We had breakfast at the hotel each morning- nothing creative or special, but certainly above average on the standard fare.... More

My boyfriend had recently moved from New York and hadn't had a chance to experience California beaches. We chose the Morro Bay/Cayucos area as our first destination. The Inn had a great room...we loved the fireplace and the robes. The bed was also very comfortable. The room and the view made for a lovely stay. The only thing about the... More

Beautifully appointed room with an amazing view. We didn't expect dinner to be available mid week but the bar was open and dinner was served there and the view was great. The Inn is located in the State Park (but before you need to pay a use fee) and is close to the Nature Center and trails still it is... More

My husband and I enjoyed a much needed respite from our teen/young adult children on January 2 at the Inn at Morro Bay. What a wonderful setting! On one side of the hotel is the bay and on the other the golf course. The hotel was quiet even though it was quite busy. Our only drawback was the fireplace (the... More

Horrible service. No heat in the rooms. The staff is untrained.. A bunch of unprofessional novices. The restaurant was served on Xmas day breakfast by two servers and the place was packed. It took 30 minutes to get breakfast after order was placed.. And that was only because we became vocal. Tables are set without salt and pepper... Guests were... More

I have been a satisfied patron of the Inn for 30 years. The serene, scenic location and comfortable accommodations are excellent and we especially look forward to dinner in the restaurant's dining room, which offers a romantic ambience, great cuisine and an exceptional view of the quaint and picturesque harbor. However, my latest visit in October, 2012, was disappointing. When... More

I bought the Groupon deal and went there with my husband for a short getaway. When I was booking through their website, I was under the impression that I was going to get a room with fireplace and private balcony. However, the room that we got did not have either. Actually I could care less about the fireplace, but I... More

Stayed here for one night only..beautiful quiet location right by the sea where we watched dolphins. The rooms where very west coast usa..and the beds comfortable. Restaurant although small was quite nice and the food good but had spectacular views.

We stayed here as part of a multigenerational family vacation. I was really Impressed with the design elements in the rooms. Everything was newly updated. The hotel provided a pack and play for my toddler at no additional cost. We didn't have time for a dip in the pool but it looked great too. I enjoyed an early morning job... More
