We had previously stayed @ Morro Bay in 2001 and returned this year. Depsite all the reviews last year we found the Inn welcoming with a fantasic view of the bay. The highlight being watching the Sea Otters from our balcony including a mother and her cub. This is an idyllic natural location very close to the Park. Easy to... more

Total ripoff - the staff was so poorly managed and the entire hotel is falling apart. I'm well traveled and have stayed at some horrible places, but this place takes the cake. Stay in your car before you get a room at this place! more

My husband and I arrived in Morro Bay and were given the keys to a "quiet" upstairs room. Both of us just stood in the room and listened to every word that was being applified through the extremely thin walls from the next room. We checked out straight away. I don't believe we have ever had such a noisy room. more

We have just got back from a 2 night stay, I have read the other reviews and the only thing I would complain about would be the bathroom. Compared to the room the bathroom is small with very little counter space and the shower with the curtain was not what I expected. The water from the sink and shower was... more

We booked a petite room with a queen bed. From the description, we thought that the room would be very small. The room was larger than we expected, which was nice. The bed was comfortable. The sink was in the room, not in the bathroom, but was ok. No air conditioner but it was cool at night. The view was... more

i absolutely loved this hotel!!! After reading the different reviews from others saying it was not too great i was a little hesitant to stay, but i'm very glad i did. me and my boyfriend got the partial bayview room, it was very spacious and very classic. I was definitely not disappointed. it makes me very angry that there were... more

We have been enjoying the Inn for several decades but have now found that, under new ownership, the management of the Inn is unacceptably poor. It shows itself in the performance of the staff, in the (once outstanding) dining, and in the little amenities in the room. more

My wife and I got married at this Inn, so we view it with a special fondness, but the reviewers that say that the Inn has gone downhill are completely spot on. On our last trip, the front desk lost our reservation -- fortunately, I had a print out to prove to them that I had booked online. They then... more

We love this area! The state park, the little Bayside Cafe down the road, the kyak rentals, nature everywhere and a golf course accross the street. The vibe couldn't be better. The Inn has terrific curb appeal. Unfortunately they have alot of deferred maintenance and the place is in dire need of an update. The rooms lack proper lighting. The... more

I've now stayed here twice, and both times, I've been very satisfied with my visit. First time was about 5 years ago, and then this past weekend. The first time I visited, they still had the spas on all the balconies--v. nice touch, and we used it a lot during our stay. Also, I could have sworn I remembered having... more
