Disgusting. My 1st room had a leaky sink. Moved rooms and the 2nd room had ants. The smoke detector was dismantled and had no battery. The shower was so small I could not fit. Gross. Do not stay here.

If this motel had air conditioning, I would have given it an "average", but it didn't. In 2014. How can a motel possibly not have air conditioning? Other than that, the room was small, and the decor was odd. The place was clean though, the front desk worker was friendly, and the free breakfast was okay.

Where do I start? Fridge didn't work, not enough towels, breakfast served in lobby with little selection. Wifi was crap and room wasn't super clean. Hot water took ages to heat up. When i said that the fridge didn't work, they just offered to keep our stuff cool in their fridge.

Our stay at the Travelodge in Morro Bay was abysmal. I should have been suspicious when the on-line booking was non-refundable. The entire establishment is shabby, poorly maintained, dirty and screams cutting corners and extremely poor attention to detail. There was grime in many places indicating that cleaning is merely a suggestion not reality. Dust on the headboard was so... More

My room was the smallest room I've ever stayed in. The tile on the floor was loose, and the shower had a hand pump dispenser for soap. The window in the bathroom would not open and close correctly, the toilet seat was loose and it's the first time I've ever stayed in a Motel without Air Conditioning. The nights were... More

Staff is professional, friendly and polite. Rooms are not bad. The breakfast room is definitely bad... it smells like hell! It's very close to the sea, but there's definitely nothing in Morro Bay... we had many problems to find something to eat.
