If anyone every books here make sure you write down everyones name that you talk to because I have never been took around and around in circles like this. The receptionist was very rude to me when I called to complain about how they charged us. We called the day before our reservation and canceled yet we still got charged.... More

The hotel like many hotels in Morro Bay right now was going under a major remodel. The rooms were definitely dingy and needing an update in the bathroom barely passable. On the plus side it's with him and walking distance to almost everything you're going to want to see in town and has great parking. There was a big group... More

When we arrived we thought we were in the wrong place as the pictures online were completely different to what met us. We we're given room #4 and as the below person said the room was very unclean and unfit. We complained, and after some discussion with the rude receptionist, we were upgraded. Would not stay here ever again.

It was 3 days before the MB annual yard sale 2015. I had booked our rooms the previous may. We come every year and have a great time. Well, last month we were in Morro Bay and noticed that the travelodge had changed names so when i got back home i called and talked to the manager. He said they... More

This is a neutral review but meant to let the TA community know that this hotel is currently being remodelled. They are working until at least 6 pm each night; it's dusty and it's noisy. Best to know this... We are currently staying across the road at Best Western Tradewinds and find it hard to believe they are actually open!... More

We arrived in this sleepy little town, tired from the road and hoping for a place to rest our heads for a few hours. After being reassured by the nightman that the room we were being given was clean, we unpacked the car and entered room #4. A brief description should be sufficient enough to deter anyone from considering this... More

This is my first negative review. I always carefully consider in advance where to stay on a trip traveling with my family. This time I booked a room a day before our arrival on busy weekend. My choice was based on location and a room availability in the area. First of all the room that we stayed smelled horrible. The... More

I originally booked under Travellodge. Travellodge i guess was sold to the Seaside Inn. I called (valentines day morning) to check on directions and found out about the change in ownership. So i asked, "will my travellodge reservation still be honored"? Oh yes, we will see you this afternoon the guy said to me. When we arrived the guy said... More

Let me make a couple of statements to begin. First, as I stated in the title we didn't actually stay here. More on that later. Second, if you do not have advance reservations on the Central California coast you're asking for trouble. In 1980 I decided at he last minute to take a trip to the Central Coast on Memorial... This hotel stay is all about the location. Literally steps from a view of the famous Morro Rock and a short walk down the hill to the Embarcadero. Based on other reviews, we knew we were not getting 5 star accomodations, but basic upkeep and cleanliness would be expected. Upon our arrival at 3pm (check in was stated to be... More
