We arrived in this sleepy little town, tired from the road and hoping for a place to rest our heads for a few hours. After being reassured by the nightman that the room we were being given was clean, we unpacked the car and entered room #4. A brief description should be sufficient enough to deter anyone from considering this... More

This is my first negative review. I always carefully consider in advance where to stay on a trip traveling with my family. This time I booked a room a day before our arrival on busy weekend. My choice was based on location and a room availability in the area. First of all the room that we stayed smelled horrible. The... More

I originally booked under Travellodge. Travellodge i guess was sold to the Seaside Inn. I called (valentines day morning) to check on directions and found out about the change in ownership. So i asked, "will my travellodge reservation still be honored"? Oh yes, we will see you this afternoon the guy said to me. When we arrived the guy said... More

Let me make a couple of statements to begin. First, as I stated in the title we didn't actually stay here. More on that later. Second, if you do not have advance reservations on the Central California coast you're asking for trouble. In 1980 I decided at he last minute to take a trip to the Central Coast on Memorial... This hotel stay is all about the location. Literally steps from a view of the famous Morro Rock and a short walk down the hill to the Embarcadero. Based on other reviews, we knew we were not getting 5 star accomodations, but basic upkeep and cleanliness would be expected. Upon our arrival at 3pm (check in was stated to be... More

Within walking distance of good restaurants and the water front. Our TV didn't work. We told them, but they didn't follow up and fix it. Nice people, but poor service. The room was okay and clean. I think that they are trying to make the place better.

Disgusting. My 1st room had a leaky sink. Moved rooms and the 2nd room had ants. The smoke detector was dismantled and had no battery. The shower was so small I could not fit. Gross. Do not stay here.

If this motel had air conditioning, I would have given it an "average", but it didn't. In 2014. How can a motel possibly not have air conditioning? Other than that, the room was small, and the decor was odd. The place was clean though, the front desk worker was friendly, and the free breakfast was okay.
