I stayed here one night while on a road trip in October 2013 with my girlfriend from Germany. The motel was nice, the staff and management was very professional. Our room was clean, the shower ran hot water, no bugs, no strange odors or smoke. Quiet and peaceful, walking distance from the water and shopping. breakfast cereal was nicely kept... More

Stayed there for 5 days while house shopping and was very satisfied. In addition all of the rooms were starting to get an upgrade the day I left. The owner was on the quiet side but efficient/professional. It's not the 4-Seasons but you're not paying $400+ a night.

A few rough edges, but the property's pretty decent and in a very central location to all you'd want to see and do in Morro Bay. Listen, and you can hear the fog horn sighing. A flimsy breakfast is available in the office. Nothing to write home about. Room adequately heated for winter. Crummy, slow internet, but free at least.... More

Cozy room and very quiet. Good service and friendly staff. Located close to the main street with shops and restaurants. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean as well as the bathroom. Shower looks kind of old but it is decent. Coffee pot and small fridge in rooml.

If you ignore previous reviews and book here anyway, stop at the nearby Albertsons grocery and grab some bleach, air freshener and bottled water to brush your teeth with. The room inexplicably smells like cat litter. The tub is disgusting with pink mildew and the water is brown. The beds are sunken in the middle. I slept in my clothes... More

This place has a great location but is very dissapointing as far as the rooms. The building needs to be renovated and a good thorough cleaning would help also. I would only reccomend it for its location.

I am not sure what place the others with low scores were rating. I am sure if you spend all your time in a hotel you will be very picky. When I go on a trip, the hotel room is a place to rest after a busy day. The hotel is steps away from the shops on the bay, was... More

Wasn't expecting much here during a one-night stay in MB. Ended up getting less. Though its only a block from the waterfront with good restaurants and sites, this place was bad. Here's the list - paper thin walls - a front door that had obviously been smashed in before - lights that didn't work - a few channels on their... More

OK what I have read here is not true about rude staff and being a dump? We stayed here and if your nice to the staff there very friendly. Yes it could use updating and so can all the bargin motels at Morro Bay and Pismo and most beach motels. If you want nice then pay for it. Sea Air... More
