This was a great place. The staff was very nice and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. It was close to the beach and a moderate walk to the embarcadero. We would deffinately stay here again. more

We got there around 6pm, the room was "cleaned" but the trash can was full of trash from last guest. We called the front desk and had it removed. Our room was remodeled with granite counter top in the bathroom, a coffee maker (with one pack of coffee, no tea bag), a fridge, a flat screen TV and two comfortable... more

My wife and I were traveling the coast highways on Highway 1 by motorcycle and drove into the parking lot, which we initially thought was a Motel 6, but 'thankfully' for us, it was this great motel, the Morro Shores Inn! The rooms were larger, pillow-top kingsize beds, 32" flat screen TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and other room comforts,... more

I have stayed at this hotel four times over the last two years and found it to be new, clean and an excellent value. I've always stayed in a nicely decorated second floor king room, facing the freeway with a small balcony, that has been very roomy with extra couch and a desk with free and fast internet for my... more

First impression it looked pretty decent we thought it was clean. We stayed there on a busy weekend and tried to get there early to get a better room. That... more

Got a king room here on a Friday. The room, though some of the decor looked pretty Tropicana-ish, was real nice with a nice king and flatscreen with cable. Nice bathroom. Paid only $100 and the location is clearly why: from certain rooms you can see the rock, but you need to hop down a couple exits to get to... more

We booked with this hotel for a weekend stay in July. We paid over $300 a night to stay in this place. Yes I agree with other poster the room is nice but the LOCATION IS HORRIBLE. First of all you are staying next to a park where all the homeless people hang out, the view from your room is... more

Great hotel. The people who run the hotel were very friendly . The entire room was very clean. The beds were actually comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the counters are granite. There was a very small balcany area, which the kids liked. The hotel itself is away from all the tourist sites, but you can drive about a mile... more

upon checking in, my wife used the lobby bathroom to discover a giant unflushed dump waiting for her in the toilet. then, on our way to our room, we passed by the owner's "suite" -- the door was wide open, there were no sheets on the bed (just an obviously slept on bare mattress), a huge bag of dog food... more
