I booked a spa day for myself and two friends at the Font Street Inn and Spa. The women I spoke with while setting up the day were very friendly. However, when we arrived there was a man coordinating our treatments and he was very rude. He blamed us for miscommunications between himself and his staff and lectured us more... more

This is a different review. Although we did not stay at the Inn, we did take advantage of the Spa. We arrived mid day on a Saturday and unfortunetly had already checked in to another hotel. We wanted a relaxing experience and since one of us had never had a massage or facial we called to see if they could... more

We had heard about Front Street Inn from others, and as great as their recommendations were, our stay was even better than expected. The views of the harbor across the street and Morro Rock were so engaging it was hard to leave our spacious room -- especially seated comfortably with a fireplace on one side and huge windows on the... more

Don't be fooled by the "Inn and Spa" in the name of this property. This place is quite subpar for an inn -- the decor is stark but kind of low class, and it's located in a little strip mall, next door to an even cheaper looking motel. At least it was quiet and the bed was comfortable, so my... more

Stayed in the Big Sur room for four nights during the past holiday season, loved the place. The smell of the french bakery downstairs was worth the price of the room alone. Cool pictures on the wall, cool wood beams in the building, amazing view of the bay and the Rock, we'll definitely be back. more

I really wanted to like the Front Street Inn, but I left feeling disappointed. I thought it would be the highlight of our trip down the Central Coast. Although the room furnishings were very nice and the view was terrific as promised, several things kept me from feeling satisfied: - when we arrived around 5pm, the innkeepers were not there... more

We are from Massachusetts and we were looking for a central jumping off place to view the numerous sites (Big Sur, Monterey, SLO, Paso Robles, wineries, Pismo beach and Morro Bay) and a place to return to after each day of site seeing. We read the trip advisor reviews and 'through the few lines' of weak complaints, before we decided... more

We stayed in the Hideaway for two nights over Thanksgiving weekend and had a wonderful time. The view from this room is incredible! You're right on the bay. There's so much to see -- the birds, the sea otters, the marina -- there's no need for the TV. Our room was close to everything. We were able to walk to... more

The room was nice but ! My wife booked the hotel and I was not happy with the fact of NO PHONE in the room, what if we had to call 911 For what we paid we should have a PHONE in the room. The front looked like a strip mall. We went too tripadvisor after we stayed and someone... more

Hideaway, the room which worldtraveler619 visited and commented on, is self contained. Hideaway is the only one of our four rooms which which does not connect to the lobby. The privacy and the intimacy of Hideaway make it twice as popular as the other rooms, according to our fiscal year results ending june, 2007. Hideaway contains every amenity available to...
