We really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were comfy, everyone was really nice , and walking distance to everything. We would go back in a heartbeat. Continental breakfast, clean comfortable rooms, great views especially from the upper floors. Loved that we could hear the ocean. Lovely

My husband and I needed to get out of SLO after graduation weekend so we headed to Morro Bay. We found a good rate on Expedia for the hotel so we decided to check it out. The woman at the front desk was very kind and accommodating. With our AAA discount we were able to get a nice rate. The... More

only good thing about this hotel is location. its old, not clean, bad bed and although we did not partake of the breakfast it was not the usual continental breakfast fare. coffee maker did not work properly but shower had good water pressure. again as with everything in the room , it was not really very clean. this is my... this property is in an absolutely wonderful location but the condition of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired. the rooms have a distinct odor that says lots of use and damp weather. everything in the room seems to be dated to an earlier time period when quaint motels were the thing. of coarse i realize some travelers still... No hot water! Barely any water pressure and no hot water. We were told to let it run until it was hot - didn't happen. The room was awful. We were supposed to stay two nights and only stayed one. Our friends just left and got a different hotel. We moved to the Ascot the next day. The bed was... More

Look, this is a motor inn, not a luxury resort. The beds are squishy, the continental breakfast is cellophane-packaged muffins, you're either displaying everything in your room to the whole world through your sliding glass doors or you're in total darkness with the curtains closed. On the other hand: fantastic central location, gorgeous view, friendly and helpful staff, in-room mini-fridge,... More

My wife and I have stayed at Breakers Motel many times. We usually like to stay on the 3rd floor with an awesome view and a fireplace. This getaway was spur of the moment and the upstairs rooms were taken. We ended up with a ground floor king room and it was great. Sure was nice not to have to... More

Stayed on a Saturday night, our group got the last two rooms. One was nice, the other was tucked behind the office. It was ok. Both rooms were clean. Breakfast was marginal. Wifi was spotty. The main draw was it's great location. Close to everything. Had a lot of fun walking around. We would stay there again.

We reserved a room, just to arrive after a long drive, to discover that they didn't actually have any regular rooms available. But they did have what they called a bungalow, which we were rented. It was away from the other rooms, quieter, with a nice view of downtown and Morro Rock. As long as you didn't look down, the... More

Luckily we only booked in for one night as we could hardly wait to leave. The room was up two stories with an outside stairway, and it was raining when we arrived, so there was no chance of us dragging our suitcases up two flights of wet stairs. The rooms looked as if they were in a timewarp from the... More
