I do appreciate the fact that when my party (of 10 in four rooms) checked in early 4/14 that they informed us that there was a wedding party staying there that night. However, that was pretty much the point where the good experience ended. We were also in a wedding party (the minister was one of the guests) and when... More

Stayed there for about 10 days over a couple weeks while I had extended business in the area. I chose the Morro Crest Inn because of the reasonable rates ($42 to $60 a night as I recall) and wifi availability. A motel with wifi is not easy to find in the SLO coast at these good rates. The owners live... More

Nice place. My room was well furnished, decorated, and comfortable with a great price. A night here feels very much like a night in the guest room at the home of a family member. I was happy to find that my room was close enough to the front desk to take advantage of free wireless internet. My room had a... More

We were enjoying a trip up the Pacific Coast as part of a 14 night trip around California, and decided to stay in Morro Bay for the night. After being quoted some daft prices ($130 plus) for standard looking motel rooms, apparently "because it's friday...", we stumbled across the Morro Crest, still only two blocks from the sea front. The... More

Morro Bay itself is wonderful City but, Morro Creast Inn is anything but that. My wife and I decided to stay at Morro Creast Inn for it's price and it's no Smoking rooms. The first thing we saw when we got there were the no smoking signs posted on all the rooms doors. Unfortunately smokers were present and the smell... More

We stayed there for 1 night for $99/night. The room is small but looks cozy and quaint due to its flowery wallpaper, flower wreath hanging on the wall, and a wood frame bed, gives it a country home feel. The bathroom is just a standing shower, clean and cheap toiletries, suggest you bring your own shampoo and conditioner. We found... More

I have stayed here twice, and been happy both times. The manager is very warm and helpful had some suggestions for what to do during our stay. The room was very clean, and decorated well for the price. The best thing about this hotel is that it is a few blocks from the Embarcadero, and everything is within walking distance.... More

I was a little nervous driving into the smallish parking lot that my SUV was going to get rear ended, but nope...I was being a worry wart. The King room, #17, had a bay view in the distance, and was very clean. I was concerned with the lack of air conditioning, but what was I thinking? Windows open...ocean breeze...perfect. It's... As far as I can tell you, it isn't the Ritz. But it isn't any cheap brand hotel/motel. The rooms are neat, clean and quite. We have stayed at many of the hotels in the area, some good and some bad. I would give this place 4 star rating. What really nice, it's close to everything in Morro Bay. You... More
