Made reservation on the internet for a King Suite. Upon arrival while checking in the agent muttered something about a mistake. When I asked it there was a problem he said no, there was no problem. Upon arriving in our room we discovered that it wasn't a King Suite but a standard King with a view. When we returned to... more

We stay at Twin Dolphins a few times per year. We have always been treated like royalty. The staff has been more like friends or family than management. Whatever 'issues' we have encountered (minor maintenance, needing another pillow, etc.) have always been dealt with promptly, sweetly, and humbly. The former manager has moved away for his wife's state career and... more

Was very nice room, but was looking forward to Spa...Spa was not in working order, so that was a disapointment for us. The first day all the power went out in Morro bay till about 10.45pm. The Hotel gave us candles for the room, after asking for them so we could at least see where we were. All in all... more

Lousy Experience. Hallways smelly (curry). Spa not functioning. Reserved ocean view room via hotel website, Got interior room but charged for ocean view. Conversation with owner (?) was not productive. Will not patronize this place again. more

Overall the Inn was a tidy place to stay on a short vacation. I didnt really spend any time in the hotel except the fact of sleeping in it. For sleeping, the bed and pillows weren't very comfortable. Both were very hard and I constantly kept waking up due to the annoyingly loud AC. more

We stayed here for a one night stopover on our way from San Francisco to LA, and for that reason this hotel was fine. The rooms were slightly old fashioned, but we think the furnishings etc were quite new, just made to look older? Apart from the corridors smelling a bit musty the room was clean and fine for one... more

When we checked in to the inn, we were hit with the absolute worst smell. At first we thought it was a perfumed/detergent/cleaning smell, but later figured out it was incense!! It stuck in my throat and my wife's stomach. Very unpleasant. Even the Kleenex smelled like perfume. Later in the day when we came back, the smell went away... more

We stayed at the Twin Dolphin Inn over the Thanksgiving Holiday Weeekend. The Inn is a 3 Story Building about 2 blocks from the embarcadero. Our room had a lovely view of Morro Rock and the Bay from the balcony. The bed is fairly comfortable. Rooms were well appointed. There is plenty of parking in the garage. The only drawbacks... more
