I took my fiance here for the Fourth of July. I have stayed here before and had a very pleasant experience. This wonderful little hotel is situated in a great location with awesome views of Morro Rock. This place also offers vouchers upon check-in for other local places in Morro Bay, such as fresh cinnamon rolls from the cafe next... More

Very comfortable room and super clean. Was given a doggie welcome bag that had a squeak toy, fleece blanket, and some dog biscuits. A+ for service And overall experience. Only place we will stay in Morro Bay!!! Elaine

The stars here are the location -- right across the street from the waterfront with restaurants and shops within easy walking distance -- and the very friendly folks who run the place. The rooms are small since it's an older hotel, but the place is very clean and comfortable. The complimentary goodies are terrific -- free juice, bottled water and... More

We recently stayed at the Bayfront Inn in Morro Bay for 3 nights with our dog. It was THE BEST dog friendly hotel/motel we have ever stayed in! They have 16 rooms and 7 of them are dog-friendly. So many places that allow dogs are just rows of doors that open onto a parking lot. But at the Bayfront Inn,... More

This is definitely a good spot for just relaxing and kicking back. The women who run it are fun and super helpful. My dog was with me for the 3 days I spent there and she had a wonderful time as well, loving her goody bag and its ingredients. The rooms are small but clean and everything you need is... More

Thanks for giving the plug to room 18. Its tucked away without a view but with so much charm....and most economic when on a quick stay. Come again More

Nice and friendly staff, got free fish and chips dinner, free cinnamon rolls in the morning, basket of sweets in my room, right across the street from Morro Rock, heard the seals at night--- all PERFECT! Thank you for the hospitality. As a flight attendant I travel more than half of the month and unfortunately we do not stay in... More

OK the bed was small. OK the breakfast was basic. But how friendly was this place! You get great service, a super friendly owner, free juice and water in the fridge, free candy, free doritos and a lot of detail and love was put into decoration. Not the most fancy place, but for sure one of the most friendly hotels... More

This is an old motel that has been kept up and, although it has many layers of paint, it has a nice, friendly vibe. We got the last room left for one night (last minute booking) above the office so no view of the harbor. The room was small, but clean with a little fridge, coffee maker and a goody... More

Do you love to be woken up by barking dogs? Do you like passive aggressive staff? How about ridiculously tiny rooms? If you answered yes, the Bayfront Inn is for you! Owner/manager at front desk is weirdly uptight about children but appears to be fine with dogs barking day and night. The "two doubles" room (#9) is WAAAY too small... More

We are always the bad guys when we have to say something about children playing in a manner that could hurt them and who are left unattended by parents. Even if a parent is physically present, the parent becomes disengaged when playing with their tech device. It is our liability if a child gets hurt on premises. Also, we have... More
