Expensive for what we got. The room was very clean and nicely decorated but, very, very tiny. Thin walls, therefore noisy. No AC, therefore tough on a warm day. There was hot water but never warm, it was either too hot or too cold. The hotel is perfectly located and we got a parking permit, very convenient. The staff was... More

The inn is an older one and the rooms are small, but everything else was great! Comfortable and clean and the rooms have Kuerigs and coffee, water, juice and a basket of snacks which included salt water taffy. Nice little breakfast room and coupons for warm cinnamon buns from the cafe next door. The lady at the desk directed us... More

This is an old and small hotel with a view of the waterfront and Morro Bay Rock – an 580-foot-high volcanic plug just off the coast, but connected to land by a sand spit and roadway. The property is old, the rooms are tiny, but the staff is eager to please. You get candy when you check in, and coupons... More

This place was fantastic! It's everything they claim to be. Great bed, clean linens, clean room, lots of extras. We got a welcome basket with saltwater taffy, cookies, pretzels and some fun size candy. Two bottles of water already in the fridge! Keurig coffee machine with two regular coffees as well as two decaf. Also received a complimentary 5 piece... More

This hotel is directly across the street from the harbor. The hotel is small inside and the rooms are the same. Reminded me of the early 60's. Yes I can remember the 60's I was a teenager. Its just walking distance to the beach and the like I said the harbor. You can see the rock vividly and that's the... More

Super nice staff, huge bed, great shower, clean room and complimentary snacks with bottles of water in the room. My girlfriend and I drove the PCH from San Francisco through the Bigsur and slept here after a tiring driving day. The lady who takes care of the place said she had left the heating on for our bedroom to be... More

We just spent 3 nights in Morro Bay at the Bayfront Inn. It was everything it said it was and more. Great views and super friendly and helpful staff. The goodie basket and coupons for wine tasting, fish and chips and the daily cinnamon rolls was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this Inn.

This place, (and Morro Bay itself), were the surprise gem of our Hwy 1 road-trip. Wonderful service, so welcoming and homely. Felt just like you were staying at a relatives place. Room was small as others have mentioned, but clean and cosy. Breakfast was fun, and the location could not be beaten. Sitting on colourful deck sipping our hot tea... More

We - myself, my wife and our dog - like this hotel and stayed there numerous times. Why? First, it is pet-friendly (not just allow pets). Second, rooms are clean. Third, staff are friendly and helpful. Location! The hotel is located at the end of Embarcadero, a street along the bay with restaurants, bars, gift shops, aquarium, etc. Right next... More

Our room was clean but very small. There is no dresser and my suitcase would not fit under the bed, so I had to set it on the closet shelf, meaning I had little clearance for hanging garments. There is a small plastic chair at the desk, but other than that, you have to sit on the bed. With that... More
