We spent 5 nights at the Bayfront Inn and were very satisfied with our stay. First off the location is excellent, you could not ask for better. It's located right across from the harbor and has beautiful views of the bay and the rock. You can easily walk to most all the little shops and restaurants next to the bay.... more

I have been a regular traveler to Morro Bay over the years. This trip I stayed at this wonderful inn. It was located right across from Morro Rock and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room itself was smaller than others places but I loved how they used the space they had. Very European and a nice change... more

Staff were helpful and friendly. The carpet was damp and the room smelled of mold. I also felt that the room was unclean. The view was not great. Located near a power plant. Reasonable rate. more

Excellent location for taking in seaside life with "fido" - wide range of shops and dining a stroll away on the embarcadero - friendly, sincere , eager-to-please staff. Not luxurious by any means, but comfortable and clean and a good value. The cafe next door is a pleasant surprise - top notch for breakfast and lunch. more

I'm so glad I ignored the fussy reviews and listened to the down to earth descriptions of this wonderful little motel.. Loved the location..great views of the wharf and Morro Rock..Plenty of places to sit and enjoy both.. A quaint, sparkling clean place with everything you need for an enjoyable stay..Yes, I guess you could say the rooms are small..but... more

This hotel was really surprising. For the price I did not expect the level of service, charm and quality. The rooms are on the small side but not a problem at all. They are clean and nice. The location is right on the bay. Cross the street and you are on the wharf. We tried the weekend special and the... more

The Bayfront Inn is much improved from the last time I stayed there. It is still the most convenient motel in Morro Bay . . . if you are not disabled (which I am) it is within walking distance of everything. The rooms are small, clean, and the beds are comfortable. I was able to put my walker in the... more

Our room at the hotel was very cute and clean. Overall wasn't a bad stay. Because I was with my husband and another couple it was difficult because this place did not have anywhere indoor for us to go and talk. The rooms were not very condusive to this and the only "public" space they had in the hotel was... more

This is one of the oldest motels in the area in a fabulous location. Our rooms are not fancy. They are very simple, small, and extremely clean and comfortable. Our pricing is very affordable and our special packages can't be beat. Staff is extremely accommodating and guests are greeted with taffy. We offer fresh fruit and coffee in the mornings...

First let me say that the staff was very warm and welcoming to us and very freindly to our dog. Location was near a number of restaurants on the Embarcadero. And maybe I'm just spoiled......But did you know that "European Style Rooms" can mean a room that is so small that you only have about 3 feet on each side... more
