This is one of the Hotels that we return to year after year. The rooms are large, clean, well appointed, conservationally aware and with a beautiful view of the marina, bay and Morro rock from the balcony. The staff is always friendly, and the hotel is a beautiful and quiet time of reflection for us. It is always the last... More

We stayed at your establishment on Thursday evening, September 6, 2007. We were in Room 311. I have to say that I was quite disappointed that I was not told at check in (approx 4:30 pm) that your rooms did not have AC. I found out after checking in and going up to the room and getting settled in. We... More

We chose to spend a night in Morro Bay before visiting Hearst Castle while driving up the CA coast from LA to San Fran last week. We were accompanied by our 2 teenaged grandsons and knew they would be interested in the great rock at Morro Bay and also wanted them to see a real fishing village. The Embarcadero Inn... More

This hotel is in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. They have good coffee in the morning. I thought this hotel was a great value.

We visited this quaint motel in 1991, and loved it then. My wife and I were left scratching our heads wondering why hadn't we come back in all those years. We checked out a couple of the rooms including our own. We found them clean, and the decor is fine. The staff was extremely friendly and informative--this includes the housekeepers.... More

We booked this due to reviews from this website. It is right on the front street that parallels the bay. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean but did have a little musty smell to it. I will agree the decor is a little outdated, but no big deal, still in good shape. Rooms have a coffee maker... More

My husband and I found this hotel to be great. It is a very good bargain for the price too. They had just remodeled before we arrived and the new carpeting and furniture are beautiful. We loved the big continental breakfast with bagels and jam, yogurt, and hot and cold cereal very filling. We received a senior discount of 20%... More

we drove up the california coast for a vacation, our destination was Monterey, and we wanted to take our time up the coast from Los Angeles. We pulled into Morro Bay in the evening and decided to just drive and find a place. Morro Bay is small, there are not alot of choices, and we wanted to be by the... More

We needed a room for 1 night, unfortunately during Spring Break season. I booked through hotwire and got this hotel for $110 total. When we got there around 11 pm, I asked if there was a room with 2 beds since I was travelling with 2 teens. There were none but she offered to bring up a rollaway - for... More

Nice rooms. Pleasant Continental Breakfast provided. Terrific view of Morro Bay. Reasonably priced, non corporate hotel. The owner says hello as you check in. About half an hour from Hearst Castle. Remember to have dinner in the local restaurants before 8:30 because they all seem to close early.
