After reading many reviews I booked at this motel. This is a no frills motel that in my opinion, is not worth the money. It had average to below average but fairly clean rooms, the spa was not working, the internet access was only in the breakfast room, and even then, we couldn't access it. The location is the only... more

We stayed here for one night whilst driving route 1. The rooms are large and very comfortable, with nice views of the bay, and much better decorated than chain hotels/motels. The rooms are very quiet and the beds very comfy, so you can be sure of a good night's sleep. The complimentary breakfast was much better than most. The girl... more

Wow, the room was huge. I only stayed there one night to attend a wedding but it was really clean, and I liked how they were trying to be eco friendly with their bathroom amenities. Also has a Dvd player, that I later learned you can borrow movies from the front desk to watch as well as a fridge, microwave... more

Stayed in room 304; partial view of the Bay, couldn't see the Rock but room was only $85; full view of rock was $125. Queen beds were comfortable; had fitted bottom sheet which was a plus; bed linens were clean and in good condition. Room was large with small frig, TV, and DVD player. Bathroom had separate sink and separate... more

We have gone to Morro Bay several times and stayed in various places but this time we stayed at Embarcadero Inn in a third floor room with a balcony overlooking the water. Amazing sunsets right in front of us and Morro Rock to the right of us... The room was great, very spacious, with a fireplace, sofa, small table and... more

We got a great price of $138, full bay view during the Valentine's day weekend. The hotel, however, needs to be updated. The furniture are stained and worn out. The bed covers also showing age. The color scheme of bright orange and cream is loud and ugly. There is no internet connection in the room. You need to go to... more

We found this in a Coupon brochure and am so glad we did. We stayed on the Second floor with a partial view....I would definately recommend staying on the 3rd floor with a full bay view as the sunsets are terrific and this place is just so relaxing. The room was quite large, clean and had everything we needed. The... more

Stayed at the Embarracado Inn for one night on the drive up the coast. Great place to stay nice clean hotel and superb room with huge bed and lots of space along with a nice of view of the bay. If you do stay here though just be aware that after about 9 o’clock at night Morro Bay effectively closes... more

We happened to be vacationing during the Mid-State fair, so accommodations were either very expensive or not available. We wanted to find something close to Cambria or San Simeon, but there were no available rooms that didn't break the bank. After spending 2 1/2 days trying to find a reasonably priced hotel near the ocean, we came across the Embarcadero... more

I almost always start my reviews with whether or not I'd stay at a place again, since that's the most important question. I guess the best I can come up with here is maybe. My wife certainly would. So let me start with the negatives and go from there, and you can decide. First, the web site and even the... more
