A cursory glance of latest TA reviews gave Anderson Inn a clean sweep of 5 stars so we were expecting something special. We certainly got that - from start to end our stay as this beautiful establishment was exemplary. Mollie and Jeff are wonderful hosts, offering spacious and well furnished accommodation right on the harbour and across from the rock.... More

What a wonderful gem of a place! The Andersons did not spare any expense when redoing their parents' old place into this 8-room inn: pure Scandinavian lines and colors, quality materials, warm surfaces, extreme cleanliness. We stayed in one of the two corner rooms and enjoyed a phenomenal sunset over the Morro Rock from the privacy of our balcony, with... More

We have visited Morro Bay many times over the past 40 years. This visit we finally decided to stay at the Andersen Inn after longing to for the past few years. The Inn is owned and operated by Jeff, Mollie, and Roger, who have grown up in Morro Bay and probably know everything about this area. Jeff greeted us first,... More

We stayed here for two nights. The room was charming and comfortable- great bathroom. And binoculars to see the sea lions and other wildlife. We were given great recommendations for restaurants and things to do This is a family run inn - with very nice hosts. Definitely the place to stay in Morro Bay

Beautiful hotel right on the Bay in Morro Bay, Ca. Jeff and Mollie Anderson own and operate the most elegant hotel on the Central Coast. Top of the line accommodations and the most gracious and helpful hosts anywhere. Highly recommend.

My wife learned about this lovely inn while planning our driving trip up California's Highway One. In brief, the Anderson Inn is very special. Of course it is special for the location and astounding views right from the water, but It is equally special for the friendly and attentive staff, who pride themselves on making sure each guest has a... The ocean view rooms have balcony's over the water, jetted tubs and a great shower. The sunsets are great. We planned on staying one night and ended up staying 3 or 4 nights until they didn't have any rooms available. We stayed in all 3 room types and they were all great. There's plenty of activities in the small town.... More

My husband and I found this gem on the PCH road trip two years ago while I was pregnant with our daughter. We had the pleasure of meeting Jeff and his sister, Molly upon arrival. They were so friendly and right away you felt like you have known them your whole life! Their Inn was perfectly clean, beautiful, great views,... More

We stopped in Morro Bay on a trip down the California coast. I noted the impressive ratings for the Anderson Inn, and made a reservation for a harbor front room. Staying here was a highlight of our trip. What a great town and inn! The view is fantastic, and I really enjoyed opportunities to photograph wildlife from the balcony that... More
