During our road trip we stayed one night in Morro Bay at the Anderson Inn. It was a fantastic experience - from welcome to room and the restaurant we had dinner at. We can highly recommend staying there - we had a room with two double beds for the four of us and the room was very spacious and strolling... More

After researching my family USA holiday on trip advisor, I wasn't disappointed with Anderson inn at Morro bay. Friendly hospitality, clean, spacious room, comfortable queen beds in a top location next to the water and amazing eateries. Wish we could have stayed longer. A haven after a 500km drive.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Even before we stayed the communication with Mollie Anderson was superb, I felt I had known her all my life. The location is perfect, overlooking the bay and Morro Rock, the town itself is small but welcoming. Our room was tastefully decorated and Mollie personally took us to the room and made us feel... The view was great and the binoculars in the room made it even better. Our room was very comfortable and stylish with everything you could ask for and more. The owners though really made the place. I've never stayed anywhere that has given you that much personal attention. Wish we had planned to stay longer. One night was just not... More

We new the Anderson Inn would be a little different to the international hotel chains we normally stay at , but how wonderfully different . Firstly the location is incredible , right on the water with incredible views in all directions. The room was very comfortable and even though we had a spare single bed for our daughter , there... Won't add much more to the reviews already posted, but really glad we stayed in Anderson Inn for a night stop-over while driving down the coast. Rooms and views over the bay were great, the owner family is wonderful, the town is nice for strolling around and the restaurant (see separate review) was excellent. All in all, a great place... It's a shame that so many of the "expert" guidebooks give barely a passing mention of Morro Bay. The town is the perfect resting spot when heading from LA to Monterey or even SF. It is not as crowded as some of the other beach towns along the PCH and certainly not as touristy. It has a working class feel... More

Spacious rooms with balconies. I can't imagine any of them not having an excellent view of Morro Rock. Plenty of room for our family of five and very comfortable beds. The owners, Jeff and Molly, are the most pleasant and hospitable people you will ever meet. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else if you find yourself in Morro Bay.

We stayed in room 202, one of the 3 rooms that overlook Moro Bay and the Rock. The room was luxurious and the view was so splendid that I got up at dawn to see the sun rise over the Bay and the Rock. We saw and heard !!! seals, sea gulls, and white egrets. Our dinner at the Galley was... More

We only had one night at the Anderson Inn, but we wished we could have stayed longer! What a wonderful experience, from the time owner Molly welcomed us personally as we pulled into the parking slot, until we left wishing we could stay another day. Arriving around 6:30 PM, Molly welcomed us, checked us in, and showed us around the... More
