This is the sort of hotel that you think twice of commenting on at the risk of spoiling your special find (or making it so popular that there is no availability). An exceptionally warm and friendly greeting awaits you at this very small Inn with the best view over Morrow Bay. With many thoughtful touches, the rooms are decorated in... more

In February when my husband and I started planning our annual family vacation we turned to trip advisor to help us find hotels. The Anderson Inn was not our initial reservation. We had chosen a different hotel based on the fact that it had a pool for our youngest, age 11, and breakfast. Every time we reviewed our itenerary we... more

This is a terrific hotel. Small, charming, well-appointed, immaculate with gracious hosts. The beds were so comfortable making for a dreamy slumber. Our only mistake was leaving the windows open during the night. The rooms are so close to the water that the charming barking of the sea lions interrupted an otherwise perfect night's sleep. Don't let this minor complaint... more

The location is one of this hotel's best aspects and one of its worst. You can't beat sleeping high up on the warf overlooking the ocean with nothing between you and the sea but maybe a little fog. The down side of the location is that it is on the Embarcadero, the main street adjacent to the bay. You will... more

I will start by saying, I am not easy to please! I travel a lot up and down the coast of California for work. This trip I wanted a change of pace from my usual Pismo overnight. I decided to head up the coast a little to Morro Bay. I knew it was a cute town with great restaurants, but... more

Our visit to the Anderson Inn was one we shall never ever forget. We had found the Anderson Inn through TripAdviser but, there was no way of preparing us for this most wonderful experience. Our very first visit to California and after our first 2 days of staying in LA we had decided it would be our last. The hotel... more

The Inn doesn't have all the facilities of some other hotels, but what it lacks in facilities it makes up for with the warmest of welcomes and fabulous accommodation. The room was incredibly comfortable and the shower was amazing. All the rooms have a great view of the rock in the bay to watch the sun set. The staff couldn't... more

I really didn't expect a Four Seasons experience at this exquisite inn. The Anderson's have succeded in getting everything perfect right down to the smallest details. My desire to see the 180 degree view of the bay was necessary to get me out of the best of all possible beds. That along w/ flat screen TV and all ammenity extras... more

Anderson Inn is a delightful, small boutique inn situated on the waterfront at Morro Bay. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners who give personal attention to every detail of a guests stay. The room we had was tastefully decorated . It had the very latest in shower technology in the bathroom - absolutely delightful experience when showering. The... more

Our stay was wonderful!! The Inn is small - you feel like you're spending the night at a friend's house. It is spotless and beautifully decorated with very tasteful furnishings that are not mass-marketed, generic "hotel furniture". You're not in a hotel room, you're in someone's guest room. There was a gorgeous view of Morro Rock and the bay, complete... more
