I spent two nights here - very comfortable. I checked in at 1 AM, the registration was quick and yes, the room door opened easily! Comfortable and Clean bed - Neat bathroom! It was a great value (and location) for what I paid. The rooms did not smell musty ... The chair seats were stained - and that was the... More

While wanting to visit beautiful Big Sur and Carmel I decided to fly into San Jose Airport, rent a car and drive to Monterey to stay for the duration on my visit. Upon checking in, it went quickly and I found my room. It took my at least 5 minutes to open my door. Not sure if it was sticking... More

First off I want to say that we are not ritzy types that live in the lap of luxury. We usually stay in Motel 6 or Best Western style hotel/motels. However this place literally disgusting. Shower hardware falling out of the wall, plug outlet covers broken in half, carpet that literally turned your feet black just from walking across it... More

Booked because of the cheap price and location. Trash cans weren't emptied from previous people, but sheets and bathroom were clean. Advertised free wifi but it was so spotty and with such a low signal, I couldn't even use it. Free continental breakfast was just toast and coffee.

Nasty, filthy, discusting. Trash still on the floor from previous guest. Bed speads had, I dont know what, afraid to look too close. It was booked for us or I never would have stayed here. I was afraid to walk on the floors with my shoes on. The bathroom window (crank type) doesnt even lock. I am supost to stay... More

We made the mistake of booking a 4 night stay here and my heart sank when I entered the room - it smelt so musky. If money was no object I would have just found somewhere else. The beds were made daily and the sheets were clean, but the blankets covering the beds were so revolting I would not let... More

I'm not sure why in the world these folks charge what they charge for this "OLD, MUSTY, CHEAP, NASTY SMELLING," hotel. The counter top in the bathroom is broken and was obviously just shoved underneath the sink portion of the counter top - an accident just waiting to happen. They only left 1 washcloth for 3 folks and we couldn't... More

Maybe my standards are a bit high, but when one walks into the bathroom and leans on the counter only to find the counter top to the sink in our room wasn't attached to the counter - it's an accident waiting to happen. They charge .25 cents/bucket for ice. Shouldn't a simple commodity such as ice come with the high... More

Stayed one night on our way to San Francisco, and was satisfied with the service given. The breakfast was in the small lobby (only three seats available), and offered nothing special. Did not use the pool since it was a cold day, the rooms were spacious, and had a kitchenette which was a bonus. Had to pay a quarter for... More
