Ok for one night. Spacious room, clean room, but pretty basic. In the premises some garbage bins were so full that the garbage was been put at its sides. Front desk provides a reception that can't be considered warm. more

Strangely enough, the room was very clean looking. However, there was more funk in that room than at a Wild Cherry concert. I can't describe the putrid odor, as it was a very non-western "India" like smell. I don't mean to sound like a bigot, but I'm just being truthful. We had to come out for air every 20 minutes.... more
Our stay here on our vacation was great! It was convenient and very clean. It had a refrigerator and stove which we didn't expect which was great. It is very close to Cannery Row which we liked. They provided us with adjoining rooms that were connected through a door inside the room which was convenient. more
I don't know why I expected more from a budget hotel. Perhaps I was being naive. I booked this hotel through Expedia back in February, because it was affordable. But when we arrived at the hotel late on a Saturday night (exhausted after 14 hours of airports and airplanes), they didn't have our reservation in their system. After about twenty... more
We stayed here for 4 nights whilst exploring the California coast line. On arrival at the motel it looks nice. We were slightly put off by the abrupt young man and reception who seemed to grunt at us instead of talking. But who spends much time at reception? We only ahd to talk to him once to check in! The... more
I stayed here for 8 days while in town for a family event. My reservation through Hotels.com averaged my nightly rate around $55. I found this hotel to be very clean and comfortable. I had a King bed room that included a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron, hairdryer, and cable with HBO. My aunts had Queen beds, and their rooms... more
This hotel is extremely noisy and has no A/C. The staff is rude and they really seem inconvenienced upon check in. The rooms are extremely modest (this is what you pay for). It is in the seedy "motel row" of Monterey and approximately 3 miles from the main attractions (Cannery Row, Aquarium). I would recommend spending a few extra dollars... more
A group of people and I stayed at this hotel, knowing that it was very low priced and figuring "you get what you pay for". We were pleasantly surprised to find that although the rooms were modest, they were very clean and well kept. The second night we were there, the locking mechanism on our door broke. After about a... more
We have booked this hotel from Choice hotel website about two months before our trip. I also called them the day that we were going to check in to make sure that the reservation was still fine. They said it was OK. However, when we got to the hotel, the lady at the front dessk told us that she was... more
Stayed in the area 2 nights. The first night in Carmel and the second here. We booked this through the tourist office in Monterey, were told that there was a real shortgage of rooms and should be happy to have a room.! First off we paid 187.00 for room number 126. A total rip off. The fridge was not plugged... more
