Large, clean rooms. Separate sink vanity area was especially helpful. Excellent local wine served in the afternoon and breakfast was good - Cereal, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit juice! more

Motel was not what we expected. Stayed their several years ago in a wonderful comfortable newly updated room. Decided to stay again and were put in a room that smelled horribly of mold and urine. I picked this hotel because of the convenient location, yet the price was not too high. It is about 3 blocks or so from Cannery Row, so you can walk to shopping and dining. We just got back from our 1st Wedding Anniversary in Monterey, where we stayed at the BW Victorian Inn (May 17th). This was our first visit to this BW and absolutely loved it. liked that is was so close to Cannery row (only a few blocks) & easy access to San Carlos beach for the diving. The continental breakfast is about avarage but hte wine & cheese in the afternoon is an exceptional touch more

Great friendly spot to stay. We had our dog with us and it worked perfectly for a visit to the Aquarium, which was a short walk away. Colorful flowers and plantings. Would definitely stay there again. more

We stayed three nights and visited all the nearby attractions with ease. We actually used the BIKE PATH as a main artery to get around. 2nd time staying here with our dogs. Very quiet, close to Cannery Row and shops, restaurants. Great afternoon wine and cheese and a very delicious breakfast. Love the hardwood floors, so much cleaner than carpet! more
