Every year we attend Concourse d'Elegance in Carmel Ca. We previously stayed at the Hyatt in Monterey but we were disappointed as there was no AC. Four years ago we booked a the Pacific Hotel and have never looked back. The room is great as it has a kitchenette, living area, sleeping area with a 4-poster bed and the bathroom... More

At first glance, you think that you have made a mistake but once you get inside your rooms you realise that you get good old fashioned luxury at a reasonable price. Good position, friendly staff and a nice stopover on our way to 17 mile drive and on to Big Sur. Breakfast was adequate and we were sorry that we... More

We were disappointed by the standard of this hotel, it was not that clean and seriously looks like it's lacking love! A lick of paint would go a long way to smartening this place up. Breakfast disappointing and overall not good value for money. Our room was dark, the paint was dark too, plaster had not been painted where a... More

Even though we stayed last year, this is the hotel that always stays in my mind. The room is very clean, spacious, with boutique design. I like the vintage fireplace that we were able to enjoy our wine in front of it. Staff is great too! Always willing to help. We will definitely stay there every time in Monterey (if... More

Had a wonderful time in Monterey. The Pacific Hotel is a great choice if you looking for someplace comfortable with a friendly and helpful staff. We've stayed there many times and have never been disappointed. We would highly recommend it!

Been here for our honeymoon. Great rooms which are clean, spacious and have a great mixture between modern and cozy interior. The location is perfect, just a 10 minute walk to the pier and a 5 minute walk to the downtown area. Only downside was that we weren't told that the hotel parking was not included in our original booking... More

This would appear to be most suited to those on a budget who are self-catering. To start with the positives, the hotel is well placed in Monterey close to the centre, Fisherman's Wharf and the main shopping area. Parking is conveniently in the basement but you have to display a pass for which you pay extra. The rooms are large... More

My husband and I stayed here on our Honeymoon. The location was GREAT! Fisherman's Wharf was 1/4 of a mile, and Monterrey Bay Aquarium was less than a mile away. The city trolley also stopped at the street corner, if we did not want to walk. The room was very spacious, clean, and enjoyable, however, it did not have air... More

We (family of 4) spent one night here whilst passing through California on Highway 1 road trip. Hotel was convenient for the Cannery Row area to which we walked on the evening - this is a pleasant 20 minute stroll along the sea-wall. Hotel had a modest but filling continental breakfast with great coffee. I note some reviews say it... More

I only stayed one night in this hotel with my husband in the beginning of August, but wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms are huge with very modern bathrooms, living area with fireplace (not that you need id, but nice to look at it), kitchen table and balcony. Our room was very quiet. Continental breakfast was ok, enough... More
