Best deal in Monterey for the price. Our room was clean and cozy with a fireplace, there is an outside hot tub and heated pool. My husband discovered on the 2nd floor by our room, there is a fire pit with couches and heaters. Great way to spend the evening relaxing. About 1.5 miles from 17 mile drive and only... More

If you don't mind staying a few miles from Fisherman's Wharf then this is a great hotel. I booked a room with a guernsey bed and got a AAA upgrade which included two floors, two queen beds, two full bathrooms and a fireplace. The hot tub felt great after our long bike ride. And the complementary breakfast was a nice... More

Booked this place via priceline and got a pretty good deal for it. When we arrived, the lady at the front was relatively nice. Easy check-in and explained to us everything we needed to know. Our room was literally right beside the main office but we rarely heard anything during our stay. We could hear people upstairs who at times... More

The staff was very nice and helpful. Nice lobby and the rooms are clean and well appointed. No AC but they do supply a fan which really helped. We stayed on the bottom floor with one queen size bed....the room was very small but for one night it is OK. Only down fall is the rooms aren't soundproof, you can... More

I just stayed one night here, but it was a great experience and Monterey is a lovely place. The front desk staff were very friendly, helpful and gave me a great last-minute deal. My room was nice and clean and the breakfast included in the stay was fantastic (waffles included)! There's also a pool but I didn't get a chance... More

The hotels in this areas are all fairly old, but this one was updated a few years ago and while it shows some age, it was still very warm and inviting. The room was pretty small, but not too small, if that makes sense. Like the hotels of its time, the windows are thin and the gaps around the doors... More

From check in with Tramra, to our great room, this was one wonderful stay. The pool and hot tub were a welcome after a day of driving. Location is very good, just a mile from the bay. Free parking free breakfast, not much more you could ask for.

We were quite excited to stay at the hotel based on the reviews at Tripadvisor. But we were extremely disappointed. We stayed in room 102 and we could hear every time they washed their hands one floor up, every time someone went by the room it sounded like they were literally walking inside the room and I could go on.... This was our last 2 night stop after 2,500 miles and 12 days on the road. The reviews were not encouraging but I was pleasantly suprised by how lovely this hotel is. I can undersatnd that it is not to everyones taste, but for us it had everything that we needed including a really good sized pool that I enjoyed... More
