We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Monterey CA because it has a wonderful location, walking distance to the Aquarium. Ideally located not on but next to Cannery Row midway from downtown and the aquarium. Get a high floor room. Free parking is a ++ in Monterrey. Do not miss the antique emporium next door up street, one of the best in North CA and reasonably priced.
