This place was probably if not the worst motel I have ever stayed at. My husband and I stayed there this past weekend and it was the most horrible experienced I ever had. The front desk man watched me as I unloaded my car and walked to my room. It was creepy. There was no sense of privacy. My bathtub... more

Put simply, this hotel is horrible!! Do NOT trust other reviews! The motel locked us out of our room after we had paid just because we had returned with a couple of friends. All of our belongings were in the room and we could not access it. They were spying on us the entire time. Do yourself a favor and... more

Horrible service. Soooo expensive for what you get. Charged us $250 for 2 queens, 1 night. The place is not clean (dirty plunger outside our door). I can't say enough about this place we hated it so much. The front desk clerk was so rude and unprofessional. more

I couldn't believe it. No parking one night. There was a traffic cone blocking one space so I moved it. Night attendant comes out and starts ranting and raving about moving "his" traffic cone. He claimed he was the owner. Found out later he was just a night manager (as suspected) and not only that, he had parked his personal... more

We stayed here as part of a west coast road trip and only stayed one night (though wished we'd stayed longer as Monterey is really lovely) and for what we paid (around £30-40 for the night) and as a place to rest our heads overnight I honestly couldn't complain: The rooms were clean and the location is very convenient to... more

We took room for family with two queen beds. The room was big enough, clean with microwave, refrigerator and all what we needed + nice continental breakfast. The motel is located in a area about 5 miles from the aquarium and the fisherman's warf, but if you have a car it's just 10 minutes. There are a lot of motels... more

I booked 3 nights for our party of 5 adults, on the hotel website. The rate was what we paid ! The place is run by a family from India, who keep the best space on the parking lot for their Lexus. I found all spaces tiny to park our Navigator, so this is not the place for a trailer... more

Reserved and paid for this months in advance, using AAA rate. We had 2 King Suite for around $135. Due to the multiple high end car shows in town, everything in town was pretty much booked. Nevertheless, I heard the desk manager relating a price of $209 for a King room for the night after we left. What a shock... more

The stay at the hotel was rather nice but we had a problem regarding the rate. We booked two rooms via hotels.com which, as I realised, uses travelnow.com. The rates at which we booked the rooms was in fact an AAA rate, but the website said nothing about it. As we are not AAA members the hotel charged $78 more... more

Reasonable for a cheaper place but the beds were really uncomfortable. Hard and unsteady and meant we couldn't get a good night's sleep...which is what you're really looking for in this sort of place. By comparison, the Comfort Inn down the road had wonderfully comfy beds and cost the same. more
