Definitely not what I had expected from the small price I paid for 4 nights. That is a good thing I must mention. I had not expected it to be so clean, nice & as comfortable as it was. Of course the a.m. cont. breakfast was not big at all, it did have coffee (the way I like it). The... more

My room felt cozier and more comfy than other inexpensive hotels in the area, and that made for a good night's sleep, and despite being so close to the road, the room seemed reasonably soundproof so the noise was minimal. The location is right across from the Del Monte shops (Macy's, Borders, Whole Foods Market, etc), and convenient to Hwy... more

I stayed at the Knights Inn for one evening. Everything appeared clean and in order. However, I found several bedbugs in the bed in the morning. I informed the manager and showed him the bugs. I will not be staying at this hotel again. more

we paid $55 for a Friday night in March. it's your typical motel, so don't expect anything more or less than that. thin walls, thin towels, thin sheets. But the place is clean and they recently refinished the bathrooms. Too cold to swim this time of year. The breakfast is coffee, juice, cereal, muffins, and danishes. It's not a place... more

We made a last minute, frugal weekend get-away and booked this place based on price and decent reviews. We were very, very pleased. It's located right off Hwy 1, a few blocks down the street from most of the other moderately priced places and across the street from the mall; this came in handy. Our rate was close to half... more

We booked two rooms at this hotel at the last minute and we were not disappointed. The rooms were clean, comfortable and cute. The rooms were equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator which was an added bonus. The continental breakfast though limited was pretty good. We will definitely stay there again. more

This was a perfect hotel and was a big part of why our New Years in Monterey was a wonderful experience. In addition to its affordable price, the staff was great, our room was attractive, clean and comfortable, and its location (across the street from the Del Monte shopping center that provides bus service to First Night) was prefect. We... more

This was truly a great value for staying in Monterey. We had recently stayed at a different hotel in Monterey in May- that was right on the beach, but not ANY nicer than the Knight's Inn. THAT hotel was $110 for the same nights as the $40 a night at the Knight's Inn- JUST because of the view. Overall a... more

On our way up north it started raining/hailing pretty bad and it had started to get dark so before we drove any further we decided to stop in Monterey and make the rest of our way to San Fran in the morning. It was literally the first hotel we stopped at after getting off the freeway and since we had... more
