We had a very pleasant stay at the Knights Inn, a great place to stop off on your way through Monterey. Situated right opposite a shopping Center and lots to do in the area, especially a visit to Carmel. The Manager was very warm and friendly, highly recommend this place!!!

This to me was a false advertisement! The room I had requested did not have any of the items I expected to have based on the description. Such as the soaking bathtub, fridge, and microwave. Apparently the hotel manager or whoever is in charge of provided the description to Travelocity did not give the correct description. Both Travelocity and the... More

Clean but a really nasty mildewy/moldy smell coming from the air conditioning. The mold irritated my eyes and respiratory system. They tried to hide the smell by using bleach to clean the room with but the mildew smell eventually dominated the room. I don't know if it is something as simple as changing the filters in the ac unit or... More

This was our base for one night en route to San Francisco. It was pleasant, cheap and close to a decent shopping centre. Our room was large and clean. Staff were helpful, offering information on the local area. We'd stayed in some unpleasant hotels during our trip around California but this was a welcome change!

Granted we did not have a reservation but totally took advantage of a sell out in the area. Very outdated. Horrible smell. Only plus was comfy bed. Went by other travels reviews . I have no idea what place they stayed but it was a one star hotel at best

Maybe they save certain rooms for special people. My room was not one of them. The place is seriously rundown. Mold/mildew in the shower, which is very dark, probably for camaflouge. Bed very uncomfortable, but clean. Door is warped with daylight seeping thru. Carpet felt very grimy. Parking is inadequate. "Breakfast" nook a joke, absolutely no room to maneuver or... More

These people know how to treat a guest with respect and service. Rooms were clean and recently remodeled. Amazing bed, super soft sheets, flat screen T.V. and lots of room and nice furniture. I was at a retreat, but wished I had more time to relax in this room!! Great location, 5 miles from Asilomar Conference center and Cannery Row,... More

Hotel was great, prices were good, and room was ideal. We were upgraded to a deluxe suite for free and the room was very nice. TV, air conditioning, fridge, nice bathroom. Breakfast is included but is basic (cereals, muffins, coffee). Would recommend to anybody looking for a cheap stay.

This place is a dump and an expensive one at that. You can do much better for your money elsewhere. The room smelled of mildew, the interior doors were warped and the bathroom door couldn't open all the way. The mattresses were uncomfortable as were the pillows. This place gave me the creeps which was only exacerbated by finding the... More

The price was very reasonable for the area (under $100) The check-in process was smooth and pleasant. The room was clean, comfortable and of average size for a business class hotel. The room was nicely furnished and had a modern TV. The internet was disappointingly slow.
