We had to get a tire replaced as we were leaving town so pushed back our arrival and we got in late like 8pm. They tried to give us a room with one bed even though we had booked a two bed room. Then we had to stand around and wait for 20 minutes for a manager to drive over... More

We stayed in Monterey for one night on our American road trip. I booked this place because it was cheap and in a good location. This was the first time I've stayed in a Knights Inn and i think it will be the last. The lobby smells like curry, the rooms are ok however the walls are very thin and... More

The front office staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was large (#239) and had a fridge and small microwave. Sheets and towels were clean but the rooms are very noisy and you can hear all the road noise and tv's from the other rooms. Free WiFi ,free parking and very basic breakfast were a plus. Office had a very... More

That was my first time in a knights Inn (I did another one later on my trip) and I was very surprised as It is owned and manage more like a bed and breakfast, even if the breakfast is very simple. The motel is decorated with flowers everywhere and room was very comfortable. Across you have a shopping mall very... More

We got a great price and room was fine. It was the smells that were hard to take. Check in and out smelled of heavy Indian spices. The room smelled of very sweet room deodorizer. Almost a baby powdery smell. Very sickening. Moved rooms and it wasn't as heavy but still not pleasant. Made me wonder what was being covered... More

Motel is in a good location-easy walking distance to Del Monte center for restaurants, shopping, groceries. Street noise can be an issue, but Munras is a busy street and would assume it's an issue at any/all of the nearly dozen or so hotels/motels in this area. We use earplugs when in this setting so not really an issue for us.... More

My husband, mother in law and I stayed here for one night. The room was clean and decently priced for what we paid for. The location is ideal for shopping, checking out Monterey, and food options. I don't think the front desk staff is very helpful nor do they pay attention to how their front office smells. However again the... More

We checked in here last night. The room given to us had an overbearing smell of harsh cleaning chemicals / bleach. We both felt nauseous and my wife who suffers from migraines could tell this would trigger one. We left to get some fresh air. Upon returning we decided the smell was too overbearing to stay in the room. We... More

We stayed in Knights Inn in August. The room was lovely; very clean, with a large, very comfortable bed - a massive luxury following 2 months living in student accommodation. The location of the motel is great for shopping, with a huge shopping centre across the street. The busiest areas of Monterey and its main attractions are about 8 minutes... More

We just got back from a weekend getaway and stayed here for 2 nights. It was just okay. The room was a little dated...cute but needs updating. The microwave is a dinosaur. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were fresh. Overall the room was comfortable. Downside: busy busy street. This place is right on Hwy 1 and it was... More
