We stayed here in early April. The rooms were great: clean and well kept. The view was astounding. The staff went out of their way to help us with everything, large or small. Next time, though, I will ask for a ground floor room, getting too old to climb all those steps. :)

My best wishes to the good people at the Presidio. The people at IHG really do go the extra mile to try and make your stay as good as possible. The morning breakfast is average, no complaints. Once a week they host a dinner, I had the sweet and sour. It was ok. The location is central on the garrison.... More

This hotel is old barracks converted to lodging years back. Even old it has the best view of the bay than any other hotel even the ones by the cannery row. The reception is on the main building as well as the gym and the breakfast. Breakfast is basic but I was told they are going to change soon. Wi-Fi... More

First, do not accept a room in bldg 367. As a retired Army vet, my wife and I reserved a 'kitchenette' and were assigned to a terrible room in bldg 367. It appeared the carpet had been attempted to be cleaned with bleach or other cleaning solution and it was discolored, dirty and smelly. The furniture was grimy, there were... More

My family (spouse and three kids under the age of five) stayed here in late September 2014. Without a doubt, our worst hotel experience. We moved to Monterey, CA from Germany. We stayed in this hotel for 10 nights while we looked for a place to live. The main attraction of this hotel is its location. It is located in... More

We never complain but this was absolutely rediculous. The couch smelled like dog urine, the carpets were filthy and there was hair all over the bathroom floor. I know army used to own this place so all they did was put a holiday inn logo on it and charge you an arm and a leg. We drove all the way... More

This is the second time I have stayed at this location. The price per night increased, but the improvements made since my last stay justify the cost. The best part of this lodging is the double room suite. One room has a king size bed with a refrigerator, sink, and microwave. The other room has two double beds. The rooms... More

A very quaint environment on a former Spanish military outpost. Modern buildings, well kept on what is now the U.S. Military Defense Language School. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, Handicapped guest rooms are double rooms with two fully equipped rooms which share a bathroom. For families there are some Guest cottages available. The PX and theater are on post. there... More
