This hotel was very cheap. With large and clean rooms. Owners were very friendly and allowed early check-in. Had free wireless Internet and breakfast (cereal, fruit, toast). Was too far from Monterey to walk, but only 5 minutes by car. Would highly recommend for a cheap and clean motel. more

As always with Super-8 a comfy bed in a clean room. All very recently refurbished, so excellent shower. Helpful manager who allows guests to use a PC in ther evening which was extremely helpful for emailing. The four of us from one family spent the night here and received great service. The room was really good and the house managers (couple) were extremely friendly and helpful, and spent time to help us out with the directions too. The breakfast was surplus and also very yummy. The lady staffing the front desk was very nice and friendly. The motel doesn't look impressive if one just happens to be driving by. However, the room is clean and quiet even though it's right along one of Monterey's main thoroughfares. more
