It was the great faux-pas of our trip. Lots of places nearby and we ended up in this inn, which is quite nice seen from outside. The rooms are OK, but that's it. No service. We could've enjoyed better our stay somewhere else. Note to future trips: an awfully pasteurized orange juice and muffins that taste like nothing but paper... More

Booked through the "secret hotel" deals on hotwire, so I didn't know what I will get before paying. For a 2-star in monterey, I thought it wouldn't be too bad. When we arrived at 11:45pm Sunday night (it's actually 10:45pm since it's the first day after daylight saving started), the only Indian inn keeper was asleep and he was very... More

We aren't picky people. Taking into account a 2 star hotel that's on the cheap price point, I don't expect much. The location is good, along with a lot of other similar hotels around the area. The bed was comfortable and the bedding seems to be on the new side. The outside hallway is not all that clean but whatever.... More

They advertised their prices as $30 on priceline then at check in they added a $15 "room charge". Totally bogus! Rooms are great and even had a fire place, but price gouging w/ bait and switch puts a fowl taste in your mouth.

We stayed 3 nights we always get a low star motel since we don't spend much time there. Upon arrival I was under the impression our bill would be 168 plus tax. The front desk man gave us our cc receipt and he had charged us 66 bucks in fees and taxes. We got a room that was right next... More

Stayed here on my way to San Francisco, was a nice place except the room smelled of smoke, and the staff kitchen was next door since I was in room number 1, not the most quietest available. The complementary breakfest is not something to excpect for, at least not more than orange juice and muffin.

Everything in the area was booked the weekend we needed to go up there and this was not cheap -- $250 bucks a night! If I could give it ZERO stars I would. This is the most FILTHY hotel I have ever had the displeasure of setting foot inside of. The bedding and linens were all at least 20 years... More

This was the worst in a long time. Rating was 5.7, should have been a 2. The Registration staff was most unfriendly, did not speak to us when we asked to see the room. The looby had a very bad curry odor and was dirty. The room smelled musty and looked dirty, the lightswitch did not work. We had to go... More

I booked this place before reading other reviews, otherwise we would not have stayed there. The owner is not at all friendly or helpful and has no people skills. I wonder why is is in the hotel business, as he seems to dislike having to deal with his guests. first impression of the room was that it was dated and... More

To be fair, we were placed in this motel at the last minute by Hotwire, when the place we originally booked refused to honor the "enough beds for all occupants" Hotwire guarantee, and we felt it was important for our 17-year-old daughter to have her own bed. We should have given more thought to what type of place has vacancies... More
