Paid $150 per night for a double twin room that was infected with cockroaches. "Breakfast" was a quarter of a muffin with a one ounce cup of watered down orange juice. Sleeping on the beach would have been an upgrade. Fail to understand why this hotel is rated with 3 and 4 stars on some websites. It is disgusting.

We got a discount online thank goodness. Full price would be ridiculous. Quaint in an odd way, and great location, but not well kept up. Owner never smiled. Said BBQ on website but not there, so we had to go out. No apology. No orange juice at "breakfast".

Was a little late with getting a hotel here, most of the good hotels were already booked so we made the most of it. It is old, seems they do minimal upkeep or as needed. Granite floors in the bathroom, easy to clean, floor in the room on the grimy side. Continental breakfast (i.e. 2 kinds of muffins, cheerios/cornflakes, make... More

Busy weekend here, most rooms are either sold out or far. My family decided to try this place, it was not cheap either $125.00 per night. Five minutes of my" inspection" I'm notorious for my inspection, my family thanks me now:) What do I see on the table???? A bug, that contained lots of blood when I killed it!!!!! You... More

We stayed there overnight recently and the experience is terrible. It smells bad which is unacceptable. I asked to cancel the booking and the owner told me it isn't refundable. Moreover, there was a power outage around 10:30pm and nobody is available for the fix.

i can't express how much i hate leaving this review, but i am hesitantly writing it, only because i would have liked to have a heads up before booking this hotel myself. without going into too much detail, the staff were very friendly, room was pretty clean, BUT, we did find cockroaches, which ruined our stay. we ended up leaving... Cute from the outside but the inside does not match because the walls are thin, it is only average tidy and the rooms are very, very small! Friendly at check in and decent location as 10/15 minute stroll down to the lovely city center. However, you will find better for a similar price. Having said that for one night it... More

This motel was very poor. Tiny rooms, dreadful decor and query the state of cleanliness. The toilet did not flush properly. The complimentary breakfast was dreadful and really the only thing worth eating was the fresh fruit, a banana and apple. It was extraordinarily poor value for money. I wonder if these motels take advantage of overseas guests. The cost... More

Stayed for two nights in April and it was all just about ok, Nohing bad to report other than the pipes (central heating/water) knocked against one another anytime someone draws water from a tap/shower/toilet. Very annoying !!..... As i had stayed in super8 and la Quinta in other areas of cali in the days leading up to this i would... More

It was the great faux-pas of our trip. Lots of places nearby and we ended up in this inn, which is quite nice seen from outside. The rooms are OK, but that's it. No service. We could've enjoyed better our stay somewhere else. Note to future trips: an awfully pasteurized orange juice and muffins that taste like nothing but paper... More
