This place was allright, it was clean. We had room 101 which was right next to the stairs on the bottom floor. I'd suggest staying away from any stair, because when people, mostly kids come downstairs, it sounds like elephants. Also, the hotel info sez there is a hot tub. Never saw one anywhere. I would stay here again, but... more

Stayed here for 1 night with my girlfriend in mid-January on our trip from LA to San Francisco along the Pacific Coast Highway. Hotel is located along of strip of other motels/hotels. We stayed here because it was really cheap, under $60 a night. Hotel is a no frills hotel. The room smelled like ammonia/bleach, which I guess is a... more

My family (2 adults & 2 kids) stayed here for one night only and it was awful. First impression given by the front desk staff was not good...no hello, smile, or even thank you was given upon check in. Talk about a sour greeting and making one feel unwelcome! Upon entering room, kids complained of funky smell. Security latch on... more

The staff did the job without a smile, boring attitude. The room was very small, smelled a bit funky. We are on a three weeks trip through California, and so far this was our worst night. BUT, the breakfast was the best! Branflakes, bread, fresh fruit, peanutbutter... That compensated the room a bit. more

this hotel is ok if you are a truck driver just looking for someplace to crash for the night. the room was adequate -relativly clean but not spotless, hair etc.. I guess my biggist complaint is that for $250 dollars the place is not worth it. If you have stayed in an older Motel 6, travelodge, or red Roof inn... more

Thanks to the people who reviewed this motel or we never would have chosen it. My partner and I and grandchildren, 7 and 8, stayed here 3/25 to 3/29/2007. It is basic but clean and the owners at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. We got a room in the back as we had requested and it was very... more

The room is ok. The location is very good. The woman who checked us in was rude and was like we are disturbing her - no smile - no greeting - with an attitude of a person who should never be in the front office. Very basic breakfast. more

This is a basic hojo, clean, comfortable and in a good location if you have your own car. Breakfast is very basic but good enough for a quick start when you are on the road. We stayed here one night on the road to Santa Barbara, and just wanted a place to sleep while visiting the Monterey Bay area. Location,... more

We're not hard to please, but have been burned too often by Howard Johnson motels to believe the good recent reviews on this place. Decided to gamble, and thankfully they were right on. Though the outside of this motel is dull, the rooms are recently re-done and everything was clean. The rate was about $30 lower than anything else that... more

This was my 3rd time here; we had reserved 5 rooms, for the entire family, and we all were satisfied. The rooms were clean, quiet, and nice. Every room is non-smoking, which we loved. The value is superb for the money. As usual, the management was very helpful. They were always available, and attempted to make us comfortable in every... more
