Very satisfied with my stay, price was EXCELLENT (booked online 3 months in advance direct with hotel site after comparing prices got the best rate with them), room was large well equipped and clean, WiFI in room included, and a decent breakfast selection each day. Walk to convention center, fishermans wharf is about 1/2 to 3/4 mile, very doable and... more

My husband and I stayed here during the middle of the week for 3 nights in September. Upon arriving, our room was clean with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker, bed, TV, a table w/2 chairs + a closet and a small bathroom with a stand up shower. However, the room did smell a bit so I bought a scented... more

We stayed here for two nights whilst on a road trip in California. Had booked an ocean view room but as the ocean was about 5miles away it probably wasn't worth the extra money! Nothing much nearby although we did walk downtown which was quite easy. The main part of the motel seem incredibly busy and so was glad to... more

With taxes they charged me $350 a night for an ordinary single room for 3 nights during the Concours D'Elegance event in Pebble Beach. Worst value I''ve had on any purchase for years. More than one Days Inn around here; I'm talking about the San Carlos one. Nothing nearby to walk to, other than a Denny's a half block away.... more

I had a business with pleasure trip scheduled for Monterey. I escape to this haven from the stresses of the SF bay area whenever I can afford it. I am an avid scuba diver and had a job interview scheduled. I needed lodging for one night, a place to sleep, a place to clean my scuba gear, a place to... more

This hotel is so not worth staying here. We arrived tired from a long day of driving was looking forward to my ocean view room, a nice hot shower and getting a good night sleep. Instead, my bathroom becomes a indoor water fountain. Water is coming up from the drain causing to overflow all over. I called front desk several... more

Stayed here for a weekend get-a-way. Booked a king with ocean view. Got the wrong room first, just about the time it was time to go complain, it got fixed. Got the right room but,,, room was nice but no A.C. and not even a fan, cieling, floor, window, nothing. Made the room stuffy and warm although considering Monterey was... more

I can't say this Motel was terrible, but it was by far NOT OK for us!! We stayed here on June 1st, 2008, expecting comfort and a decent nights stay (according to the AAA directory and internet reviews), however it was a complete disappointment as far as we're concerned! . Bad location & outside apperance was somewhat to be desired.... more

The King bedroom (in the main building), though slightly on the small side, was nicely decorated. Hotel photos on this website seem accurate. The valance on top of the curtains, besides being a pretty touch, kept the morning light out and allowed us to sleep a little later. Perhaps we should have awoken earlier because when we went for breakfast... more
