Location was good, price was reasonable, rooms were clean, everything was decent EXCEPT service. This place doesn't have elevators so you would expect a hotel to assist with carrying your luggage, but no. Hotel Abrego is a great boutique hotel. It was exceptionally clean, which is important. The location is easily within walking distance of the Wharf and other sights in the area. Service was excellent with great directions to local stops and very helpful. I was pleased with my stay and would highly recommend it to travelers in the area.

Well situated just outside Monterey business area and across from Cathedral. Very nicely run and accomodations are superb. Close to shopping center and restaurants in the main part of the city. We will go back later this year and would think of staying nowhere else.
