Since its remodel the place has a very different feel and look. I have stayed here in the past and thought it was ok but now I would say its top notch. The entire staff was great, friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice too with a very relaxing atmosphere. But I think the best aspect is its close... More

The lack of air conditioning is a real problem at this hotel. It's not that the room is too warm: our balcony and ceiling fan were quite effective at cooling the room down. The problem is that the room faces the highway, so opening the patio door results in a lot of noise and we kept waking up. Also, the... More

We are in the process of installing portable (modern, quiet, and good looking) units in our golf course facing rooms (or when booking a reservation, VIEW rooms), and also have a few extra units that can assist others that are warm. More

On the plus side, our room was clean, beds were comfortable, and we really enjoyed the pool area and gazebo with fire pit. Unfortunately, we still ended up spending a pretty miserable night here, primarily due to the room temperature/lack of air conditioning. Our room was stuffy and hot when we went to bed, but the ceiling fan was too... More

We stayed over the weekend of the MotoGP at Laguna Seca. Prices were much more expensive due to this. Hotel not what I expected when I booked, it was more like a motel than a five star resort. The walls were paper thin and you heard everything that was going on in the room next to you, including the arguments... More

Other than the lack of parking -- we had to park two buildings away from our room because there were no parking spots closer -- the amenities are pretty complete. Prices are the usual resort range. We paid three hundred bucks for a double so our third wheel, aka teenager, could share our room. Unfortunately even tbough we paid in... More

My husband and I and our two dogs stayed at the hotel recently and it was incredible. It looks like it was just redone. Our room was incredible. They take dogs and treated our dogs like pampered pooches! We sat at the fireplace lounge in the lobby and enjoyed great food, service and listened to jazz this past Friday night.... More

My husband and I stayed at Hyatt one night for a friend's wedding. The hotel was beautiful and had everything that I have come to expect from a chain like Hyatt, which unfortunately also includes the expense. We were able to book a room for a group rate for the wedding at $189, but after all the special taxes and... More

First off, you might be initially overwhelmed by the sprawling resort grounds. If you're walking from building 19 or 20 over to the Concerence Center or the main building, budget at least 10 minutes for the walk. Buildings 21 through 26 all face both Mark Thomas Drive AND busy Highway 1 with barely any landscaping between the entranceways and the... More

Traveling with a party of 12 the first stop on our road trip North was The Hyatt in Monterey was an excellent choice. Check in was a breeze they had that automatic check in, but just a tip if you have more than one room booked don't use this or your party might be split up in different buildings so... More

Choose an other hotel. Everything and service are very nice & splendid, people very attentive and effective but there are NO phonic isolation in the rooms so your stay is infernal. You think that neighbours are playing bowling in there room...and there is more than 30 doors closing around you day & night with big noise. We stay 15 days... More
