The television had bad reception the carpets needed updated. Otherwise a nice stay for the price. Had a room on the golf course and was able to walk around and enjoy. Only stayed for one night. More

We stayed there for two nights and used it as a base for exploring the Central California coast. One advantage over other Monterey hotels is that is accessible to Route 1, our primary route. I did expect more that what I found. The landscaping and grounds are nice, but the rooms could use some updating. The room and hallway decor... More

We stayed here for one night at the end of our honeymoon and it was so –so. We had stayed at the Hyatt in Garden Grove previously on the trip and this wasn’t a patch on that. It wasn’t awful, and the staff were very friendly. In fact the communal areas of the hotel were very good, it was the... More

I stayed here in November during our trip up the coast. On the contrary, to other reviewers, I had a great experience. We were great immediately when we arrived and signed up for Hyatt Gold membership, which they were offering through 2012 and checked in very quickly. My father requested that day's Wall Street Journal, and the manager went out... More

I'd give this 3 and a 1/2 stars if I could. The customer service at this Hyatt was great--the front desk staff was friendly, as were all of the servers/bartenders, and especially housekeeping. Miraculously, this Hyatt does not charge for parking (yay!) and there are plenty of spaces. There are also some fun extras like a fire pit and ping... More

We had a free night to use in the 1-4 category of Hyatt hotels (the top level, I believe, is 8). After our one night stay, we decided Hyatt had perfecty graded this property. It is not awful but also definitely not outstanding. Mediocre. A 4. Save for updated bathroom appliances, the room presumably looked about the same 40 or... More

For a Hyatt, I was surprised that the hall and room carpeting was sold old- the bathroom was updated and clean- The location is great and the public rooms very nice-The restaurant for breakfast was very expensive- $15 for the cold buffet-$21 for the hot buffet. I would eat breakfast at Rosiane on Main St in Monterey-great breakfast place. Do... More

If this is a Hyatt I'm George Clooney (which I'm not). We had booked two nights at the Hyatt while playing some golf in the area. When we checked in we were very skeptical as the hotel looked more like a corporate retreat facility. Anyway we got our keys and headed to our rooms (by car I might add) One... More

We stayed here for one night on a recent visit to the Monterey area. We came in on a late flight and this hotel provided free transportation from the Monterey airport. Check in was smooth and we were given a room upgrade upon request. The property was clean and well kept. There is a $22.00 resort fee which covers parking,... More
