We stayed here for one night and we really enjoyed the place. Really good service, from the moment we arrived till the last minute of our stay. Breaskfast was good and since my hubby does have diabetes so they made a special breakfast for him. We have a very nice view from our room, its clean and does have nice and comfy... More

My wife and I stayed here two nights while doing day trips to the Aquarium and Carmel by the sea. The Jabberwock was an excellent place to stay. The hosts and owner were great to meet and extremely helpful in recommending places to eat and things to do in the area. The room was very comfortable and cozy, as one... More

My husband and I have recently returned from an amazing holiday in California for a period of 3 weeks and this little gem of a hotel has been the most delightful inn we have found. The room (Mimsy ) had a beautiful view over the bay and despite the fact that it was quite small it was impeccably clean, had... More

We stayed in the Mome Rath room May 21-22. After a "broken airplane" and having to drive to a different airport, we arrived at Jabberwock with another couple at midnight ( 3am our time) after a 23 hour travel day. John and Dawn were kind enough to leave cheese and crackers and a bottle of wine in our room. It... More

My wife and I stayed at the Jabberwock last May for 4 nights and truly enjoyed the experience. It is a beautifully maintained grand house loaded with impressive antiques, whimsical Alice In Wonderland decor, and many areas both inside and outside to just sit, relax, and enjoy the quiet surroundings. With homemade cookies and beverages always available, this is the... More

My partner and I have stayed at this property three times, and enjoyed ourselves immensely; so much so that we celebrated our 10th anniversary here in one of the special suites. Dawn and John are gracious hosts who go out of their way to provide an intimate experience for all their guests. Sure, there may be "too much sugar" for... More

All I can say is there must be something in the jabber juice (which we didn't try) that caused 90% of reviewers to give this Inn an excellent rating. It was the most disappointing of all the places we stayed in during our visit to the US. The decor is dated and kind of creepy. Unless you are a Lewis... More

Arrived early and was asked to come back as the room was not ready, not a problem for us. We had a walk to Lovers Point and had a drink at Coopers bar in town. Arrived back to check in and went to join others on the meet and greet where wine and nibbles were being served. The food was... More

We stayed 2 nights in the Tulgey Wood room. This is the smallest room in the house with a seperate bathroom. But it is a lovely room with two windows and a great view. We liked the room. We arrived around 5 pm. There was tea and coffee buffet with freshly baked cookies and wine and delicious savory snacks. Breakfast... More

It is difficult to pick a word that can begin to describe The Jabberwock Inn, so I'll start with excellent, relaxing, beautiful location, enjoyable, delicious, fun, and amazing. John and Dawn were excellent hosts and made us feel welcome. The breakfasts we had were outstanding. Afternoon wine and munchies were an added nice touch. And, the goodies continued at night... More
