We stayed in the Mome Rath room May 21-22. After a "broken airplane" and having to drive to a different airport, we arrived at Jabberwock with another couple at midnight ( 3am our time) after a 23 hour travel day. John and Dawn were kind enough to leave cheese and crackers and a bottle of wine in our room. It... More

My wife and I stayed at the Jabberwock last May for 4 nights and truly enjoyed the experience. It is a beautifully maintained grand house loaded with impressive antiques, whimsical Alice In Wonderland decor, and many areas both inside and outside to just sit, relax, and enjoy the quiet surroundings. With homemade cookies and beverages always available, this is the... More

My partner and I have stayed at this property three times, and enjoyed ourselves immensely; so much so that we celebrated our 10th anniversary here in one of the special suites. Dawn and John are gracious hosts who go out of their way to provide an intimate experience for all their guests. Sure, there may be "too much sugar" for... More

All I can say is there must be something in the jabber juice (which we didn't try) that caused 90% of reviewers to give this Inn an excellent rating. It was the most disappointing of all the places we stayed in during our visit to the US. The decor is dated and kind of creepy. Unless you are a Lewis... More

Arrived early and was asked to come back as the room was not ready, not a problem for us. We had a walk to Lovers Point and had a drink at Coopers bar in town. Arrived back to check in and went to join others on the meet and greet where wine and nibbles were being served. The food was... More

We stayed 2 nights in the Tulgey Wood room. This is the smallest room in the house with a seperate bathroom. But it is a lovely room with two windows and a great view. We liked the room. We arrived around 5 pm. There was tea and coffee buffet with freshly baked cookies and wine and delicious savory snacks. Breakfast... More

It is difficult to pick a word that can begin to describe The Jabberwock Inn, so I'll start with excellent, relaxing, beautiful location, enjoyable, delicious, fun, and amazing. John and Dawn were excellent hosts and made us feel welcome. The breakfasts we had were outstanding. Afternoon wine and munchies were an added nice touch. And, the goodies continued at night... More

We were impressed as soon as we walked into this fabulous bed and breakfast. This is a beautiful craftsman style home. Everything is well displayed and not overdone. The place is immaculate. We were warmly greeted by Suzanne and Rick, the new owners. We arrived just in time for late afternoon wine and apppetizers, all home made. The breakfast was... More

First trip to Jabberwock Inn was last year for our anniversary. All I can say is EXCELLENT!!. I apologize, I dislike caps in just about everything, but the Jabberwok Inn and staff truly deserve the recommendations that are received. This in is close to everything, walking distance to Cannery Row, Aquarium, Beach, everything you come to Monterrey for. The price... More

My husband and I stayed in the Toves room at the Jabberwock Inn for 5 nights while visiting Monterey. We were warmly welcomed on our arrival and that warmth continued through our entire visit. The inn was a beautiful walk through Wonderland, be sure to look in all the nooks and crannies to find the surprises that await you. Games... More
