Only soap is in liquid dispensers that make me itch. Restaurant and Lounge are only open 5-9pm, continetnal breakfast had dry bread and bagles, no butter, uggh. The room lights and TV automatically turn themselves off after an hour or two, leaving the guest in pitch black darkness. Good location can make up for lots of shortfalls, but unless you... More

My expectations were not high given the limited availability of lodging in Mojave. But the Mariah Country Inn and Suites turned out to be a great choice. Compared to hotels in larger cities it is not "luxury" but it is on par with any middle of the road chain hotels (e.g. Doubletree, Four Points, etc), and as an independently operated... More

Nothing fancy, but seemed like good value for the price. We only stayed one night on our way to Death Valley. The room was OK with two double beds, bathroom also acceptable. One minor complaint - not enough lights in the room, especially by the bed sides. Makes it harder to do any reading in bed. There was some mention... More

we consider this to be the best motel in Mojave. some of the others on the main drag through town didn't look very nice. Our room on the ground floor was a good size. There is a guest laundry on site which is handy. The breakfast had a good selection of items. the restaurant was reasonably priced. However it is... More

Very disappointing to arrive 4 months after booking directly with the hotel via telephone and internet, to have our booking for 3 adults and 1 child amended from the 2 queen bed room to a room with one king size bed. A spa bath in a suite does not compensate for the lack of beds! The rollaway bed they provided... More

This hotel would have to rate as the best value for money!. In a smallish town driving between Las Vegas and Yosemite (Mariposa).A very quite location just off road for overnight stop The room was spacious had everything you would expect of a five star hotel without the big price tag. Meticulously maintained; even had a balcony looking out on... More

We only stayed one night, and I'm glad that I did my research before picking this Hotel. We rolled into town at 10pm and some of the Motels that we drove by looked a little sketchy. The Mariah had good lighting, it was quiet, and away from any areas where people might congregate (away from fast food, convenience stores, or... More

Pick this motel - it's that simple, if you're having to stay in Mojave. Set away from the main drag, you don't feel like you're in a bog standard motel. It could be because I've just come from a grotty old style motel that I rate the Mariah so highly, but either way it's a fabulous little hotel. It's not... More

We stayed at the Mariah County Inn in Mojave a few weeks ago on a trip to northern California. The hotel was fine. Check in was speedy and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable ... nothing special. We ate dinner in the very small bar/restaurant. The menu was limited and the restaurant/bar was noisy with a few partying groups.... More

The staff, hotel and restaurant were all top notch. Clean room, pleasant people and restaurant on site. Will stay there again. I found the rooms cleans and quiet. Close to the airport where I worked hard.
