Right on main road, fleas in room, facility run by kids, no one ever available at front desk. No phone in room, two TV stations. For the equivelent of camping almost, too much money.

Very peaceful stay in the woods, great family spot for children. Very nice setup with playground, pool and basketball, would be fun in the summer time with the fire pit. awkward office, felt like i was intruding but overall a very nice experience. will definetly be back...

Excellent cottages surrounded by big trees. Property has fire pit, basketball court and other amenities. Cottages vary in size and some have kitchenettes to allow you to cook or prepare your own food. Directly across the street are some restaurants for dinner and breakfast.

We spent a thoroughly enjoyable visit at the Miranda Garden Resort. The proprietor and her daughter were friendly and helpful. Our cabin, nestled among the towering redwoods, was delightful--clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated with a refrigerator, microwave, table, and cozy chair. We enjoyed some of the many recreational activities available including a heated pool, ping pong, basketball, tetherball, hiking, etc.... More

The rooms are old-fashioned but in a nice way with lots of real wood panel and interesting furniture. There is a large outdoor common area with a huge fire pit for evening gatherings, which was very nice. Also a large, covered area for barbequeing...we BBQ'd for forty people no problem. The kids are occupied with the swings, basketball hoop, ping-pong... More

We have stayed here several times over the years. This last trip we were sadly a little disapointed. Upon pulling up we immediately noticed a tree had crashed through the main office. So we had to check in at the owners apartment. Then we were told there would be no continental breakfast due to the damaged office. She didn't offer... More

The Cottage's here are cozy but without hair dryers or any extras at all. The cottage we had was not in the little courtyard as were some of the others but opened right onto the street. One of the problems I had with it was that they confirmed our reservations and said we'd get a Cont.Breakfast, that was a few... More

We travel with our dog. Our dog loves trees. We all had a great time here. We stayed in cabin # 5, one of the few dog-friendly rooms. It was very clean and had a fantastic gas fireplace. As it was February, there were not many others there, but this was OK with us! Great cafe across the street and... More

Was a wonderful place to stay while visiting the Avenue of the Giants. Quiet, out of the way, old fashioned cottage with comfortable accomodations. The customer service was "hit & miss". Very nice staff, but so laid back they missed on some important details. We were promised a cottage with fireplace & hot tub, but they made a mistake &... More

We stayed in Cabin #4--the back deck overlooks a beautiful old grown Redwood grove. The woodwork in the cabin is incredible--burnished vintage redwood with beautiful windows, and nice antiques throughout. The gas fireplace and spa tub were bonuses. The only channel that comes in on the TV is the Travel Channel, so plan accordingly for evening entertainment. The Riverside Inn... More
