We very much enjoyed our two day stay at this small resort. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location in the middle of the Giant Redwoods was perfect.

I may be biased because my parents owned this resort back in the 60's and 70's but the present owners have preserved its charm and only made it better. There are nothing but private cottages, some with kitchens. Though built in the 30's they have retained the original redwood structures and modernized the inside. We always stay in unit 10... More

Stay here to be in the middle of the Giant Redwoods. Short of camping, this is by far the best place to stay along the Avenue of the Giants. The rooms are comfortable and private and any balconies are next to tall redwood trees. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are substantial and adequate and can be taken back to... More

Stayed in Sept 2014 for 3 days in cottage 4. Has mini-fridge and microwave and Jacuzzi bath and fireplace. Sitting area with high back arm chairs. Patio with table/chairs and adjoining area with a BBQ(did not use). Jackie and Sue were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental style with good variety of bagels, muffins, fruit, boiled eggs, apple juices... More

If your looking for a place to really experience the Redwoods of Northern California this is the place to stay . Cabins are nice and clean breakfast is a delight to start your day. We spent 3 nights here and each day went up and down between Leggett, Ft Bragg. Fortuna ,Ferndale and Eureka. Each night we sat in the... More

We loved our stay at Miranda Gardens! We were in cabin #15 - just the right size for 2 people. It is beautifully decorated with antiques and had a mini refrigerator. Breakfast was good in the morning. The staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and they have a fire pit in the evening. We had traveled from... More

We got lucky and found this place by accident. We were on a road trip and were using Expedia to book along the way when we got tired. We found ourselves in the middle of the Redwoods one night with no hits with Expedia to stay. We actually Googled the closest hotel and found this one. Our cabin was great... More

The location is excellent. Behind the place there is a nice unofficial rout between the giant Sequoia's. The cottages are big clean and well equipped. Jackie was very helpful and breakfast was good. Avenues of the Giants was very impressive.

We also stayed in cottage 15 as it was just 2 of us and they gave us a AAA discount. It is wonderful and enchanting to stay within the beautiful redwoods. The grounds are very well taken care of and our cottage interior is beautiful! Lovely redwood wainscoting and trim through out. The room was furnished with wonderful wood antique... More

Love Love LOVED our 3 day stay here and so wish we could have stayed much longer!!!!! The first night we stayed in Cabin #1, but since I was traveling on a budget, we switch to Cabin #15 for nights 2 and 3 since it is a smaller room and less expensive. Both rooms were very cozy, comfy, VERY clean,... More
