This is a fantastic little place. Easy driving distance to anything in the redwoods. We went to fern Canyon and the scenic Parkway which are only about 2 hours further north. The landscaping is very nice especially for the winter time. Our cabin was getting painted so she moved us to the biggest cabin number 8. It was great. Big... More

My husband and I were driving north from San Francisco to Portland, and stopped at Miranda Gardens for our second night. Of our four night journey, this was the best sleep I had! It was so quiet and peaceful. We did not make reservations but rather just stopped by during our drive, we decided we were not ready to leave... More

The Miranda Gardens was built in the 1930's as a real Motor Hotel for visitors to the area. It is nestled into the redwoods on the Avenue of the Giants not far south of Eureka. (Miranda is a 'don't blink or you will miss it' fly speck of a town that rolls up the rug about 8pm.) We called ahead... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a complete review of our resort. You captured the feeling of the Miranda Gardens perfectly. It was a 1920's motor court and has been updated to modern standards while keeping the antiques and old redwood paneling for charm. We are continually updating our cabins and are so happy when... This place was magical. Old fashioned, but immaculate and with every accommodation one could possibly want for a comfortable stay. The cottages are well appointed and furnishings are comfortable. Loved staying in the middle of a giant Redwood forest. We could watch birds and animals out the back deck of our cottage. Was a great location for exploring and hiking... More

I have stayed at this place many times and every-time i have been absolutely happy with the accommodations....EXCEPT THIS TIME.. When I arrived, I was greeted by a 'new' RUDE employee (Cindy) ...Acted like I was "inconveniencing" her and her husband who were living in the apartment up front. "CINDY" told me I had to leave a $100.00 cash deposit... More

I stayed here with my mom, her small dog, and my 8 year old son. We really loved the property, and how it is nestled right in the redwoods. There is a pool, but it had just closed for the season. There is "old fashioned" furniture decorating the room, yet it was still very comfortable. The lady who checked us... More

We stayed for 2 nights. Great location on the Avenue of the Giants... there are not a lot of choices in this nice of a setting with its big trees near the river. However. We booked Cabin 5 for its privacy with windows and a deck overlooking the trees, a kitchen, fireplace and separate bedroom. Walked in and immediately had... More

We recently spent two nights at Miranda Gardens. It is an older establishment that has been well maintained. The single rooms are arranged in duplex fashioned cabins. There are also two bedroom cabins available with kitchenettes. This may be a good option as places to eat are few. There is a small cafe across the street and that is it... More

We stayed at Miranda Resort for 4 nights , the later part of Sept 2014. From the moment we walked into the office, to the time we left, we had a great time. We stayed in Cabin 3 and it worked out great for our party of five. The grounds are beautiful, well kept and so serene. Although we were... More

We stayed in Cabin #2 - It's bathroom was recently remodeled and I absolutely loved the bathroom sink (yes, the sink). It was a green with pretty dark mauve accent sink bowl. I love Green so it really caught my eye. I even took a picture because I wanted to see if I could buy something similar for my bathroom.... More
