The location is excellent. Behind the place there is a nice unofficial rout between the giant Sequoia's. The cottages are big clean and well equipped. Jackie was very helpful and breakfast was good. Avenues of the Giants was very impressive.

We also stayed in cottage 15 as it was just 2 of us and they gave us a AAA discount. It is wonderful and enchanting to stay within the beautiful redwoods. The grounds are very well taken care of and our cottage interior is beautiful! Lovely redwood wainscoting and trim through out. The room was furnished with wonderful wood antique... More

Love Love LOVED our 3 day stay here and so wish we could have stayed much longer!!!!! The first night we stayed in Cabin #1, but since I was traveling on a budget, we switch to Cabin #15 for nights 2 and 3 since it is a smaller room and less expensive. Both rooms were very cozy, comfy, VERY clean,... More

Stayed one night at the Gardens while traveling north through CA base on TripAdvisor reviews and was not disappointed. We booked Cabin 1 which while close to the road was still very quiet. All the cabins are located among a number of tall redwoods. The room was exceptionally clean and nice. With a window fan, provided by the owners, it... More

Thank you so much for taking time to share your stay with us. Miranda Gardens Resort has worked for over 35 years to provide a great experience in the Redwoods. Our staff works hard to keep the facility in top shape, and we are so appreciative of your kind (and accurate!) words. More

We visited the redwoods and the really only place to stay was here in Miranda on the Avenue of the Giants. There are cabins each of one or two rooms so a lot of flexibility. We had a one room cabin, the bed was good and the room and bathroom clean. I might not like the Tarmac/Asphalt everywhere but everything... More

We stayed in Cabin 5 this time (cabin 6 last time). Cabin 5 is definitely our favorite out of the two. The kitchen was laid out nicely and the cabin was very clean. We can tell the owner has put some money into repairs and seems to keep on maintenance. We love this place and would visit at least once... More

What a beautiful part of the country! Cabins reminded me of the 1940s vintage place we would rent up on Lake Huron in Michigan back in the 1960s and '70s. Ours was spotless and the kitchen came with utensils and plates if you felt like doing your own cooking. The pool was a welcome retreat on a hot day and... More

We stayed here during the redwood run, and it was perfect. We arrived in the small town, the place is next to the street but you feel like you're in a forest when your there. The lady's at the desk were very sweet and welcoming. The layout is small but kept ùp beautifully. The rooms are clean, and they are... More

The tiny roadside village of Miranda is located at the southern end of Humboldt Redwoods State Park and the Avenue of Giants, where you can see some of the best redwood groves in California. The Miranda Gardens is a lovely place, that makes a humble impression from the road, but boasts nicely furnished wooden cabins under fast growing, 50 year... More

Great spot for families traveling in the redwoods. Poll, horse shoes, ping pong, basketball, and trails. Kitchen units. The wood cabinets in ours were beautiful. Kitchen area outshined the rest of the room. relaxing place. Patio was nice and fairly secluded. Smell from neighboring dumpster put a damper on the patio when there was a westerly breeze. Room can bet... More
